Hi Elisa – Its been a long time since I have been able to connect to ChannelingErik despite repeated attempts from my laptop and iphone! The good news for me is that I am no connecting without any problems and am up early here catching up on 5 months of postings. I saw your book shelf and signed up myself, I can’t wait to find the time to read these! On another note back in late August and a few days after you e-mailed me about Erik’s answers to my questions a dragonfly landed on the screen of my daughters bedroom. The girls saw it and showed it to me although I had never seen a dragon fly before and didn’t recognize it immediately as such and certainly to think of Erick either. Later that same week I was in the home of a friend and spiritual guide and as I was sitting at her kitchen table I looked on the wall and saw a small plaque with a dragon fly in the middle. I literally gasped and remembered that Erik shows up sometimes as a dragon fly and right away realized that that it was a dragon fly on the girls screen and it was Erik. I saw it right after your e-mail to me and I felt like he was closing the circle between you, me and him and my question. Take care and god bless and thank you to you and Erik.

Mary! We miss you! Cool story about the dragonfly. Michelle was standing out in the drive way recently when a HUGE dragonfly started circling her. Then it took off around the corner toward the pool, so I said, “He Erik, come back here!” Sure enough, it makes a U-turn and comes right back to us, circling just over Michelle’s head. Plus, we could feel that humor energy which so typifies the boy.

  • Be Free My Angel

Had a dream about my Angel last night, also my spirit guide, told me to look up Elizabeth Barrett Browning. So I did, thought I would post it here this is a great metaphysical poem, another great metaphysical poet is John Donne.

    The Soul’s Expression
    by Elizabeth Barrett Browning

With stammering lips and insufficient sound
I strive and struggle to deliver right
That music of my nature, day and night
With dream and thought and feeling interwound
And only answering all the senses round
With octaves of a mystic depth and height
Which step out grandly to the infinite
From the dark edges of the sensual ground.
This song of soul I struggle to outbear
Through portals of the sense, sublime and whole,
And utter all myself into the air:
    But if I did it,—as the thunder-roll
Breaks its own cloud, my flesh would perish there,
Before that dread apocalypse of soul.

Since we are so close here, on CE, I sometimes think that the messages I get are not just for me, but also for my CE Family.

    Dear BMFA,

I feel a very strong connection to Elizabeth Barrett Browning. I have been reading her love sonnets online and they are amazing. I am particularly fond of her poem How Do I Love Thee?

I don’t know why I feel this strong connection to her, but when I read some of her poems it was like I was feeling her emotions as she wrote the poems.

    Here is her poem:

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and ideal grace.
I love thee to the level of every day’s
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for right.
I love thee purely, as they turn from praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood’s faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints. I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

    Elizabeth Barrett Browning

    Love,
    Paul

    Dear BFMA, ELisa and all,

Here is a poem that I created with Elizabeth Barrett Browning in mind. I wanted the poem to have her style, her genre. I entitled it Raven Faire.

    Raven Faire

Oh Raven faire, with your jet black hair, take your hand in mine,
gaze upon my eyes of blue , plant your ruby red lips unto thine,
take my soul, for it is yours, it is yours .

Pearl white skin glows in the moonlight, reflecting hues of amber
emanating from your very pores, eyebrows shaped like a sculptured masterpiece,
while you stand upon a pedestal of marble.

A chiseled chin of precious ivory beckons me to come hither,
pouty eyes become hypnotic magnets that draws me inward.
I stroke your raven locks with my eager hands, filled with anticipation.

Draped in silk, liquid pools of emotion well up upon your face.
Bathed in milky opalescence, mists of the glen swirls around you.
A smile, your smile, awakens me, arouses me.

Ere my life doth end, cover me with thy kisses sweet,
place your hand atop my beating heart, hear its rhythm vibrate with thine own,
for your heart is my heart, and my heart is your heart.

Look at me fair maiden, peer unto thy soul.
Can you plumb the depths lain hidden behind locked doors?
Seek and ye shall find, ye shall find the treasures of a secret garden.

I gently lean forward, resting my head upon your brow.
Brushing your raven hair to one side, my lips tenderly touch the nape of your neck,
    til’ my lips meet thine.

Dropping to thy knees, you caress me in a lover’s embrace,
    until your eyes meet thine.
Oh Raven faire, can you see reflected in thy eyes a love, a love eternal?

Oh Raven faire with your jet black hair, I love thee with a love sublime.
Oh Raven faire, gaze upon mine eyes,
for I love you, I love you with a love divine!

    Love,
    Paul
