Iola, I am planning to take some time to ask questions for the book, but after that I’ll be glad to help. I will say there is nothing more healing than hearing from our loved ones directly. Have you considered booking a half hour session with one of the channels I use? It’s only $40 for Jeannie Barnes, and Jamie and Kim are progressively more expensive, but I can guarantee it would be the best 40 bucks you ever spent! Give it a thought, Sweetie.

I am trying to contact my son, Andrew Sherer, who died spt 21, 2009. He was found hanging at work. He was 23 years old. We live in Bourbonnais, Illinois, where Andy also worked at a ford car dealership. He was bullied, and harrassed by his boss. His death has left us with so many unanswered questions. His dad and I are struggling to go on, but I need to know he is ok. I know the list is long, but I will keep reading and watching. Please help me. I am so lost without him. his birthday is 12-8-85. He died 9-21-09. your site had been a lifesaver for me. I look for Andy hourly..for any sign that he is ok and happy. Thank you for listening.

I’m getting that book, Skoshi! Have you ever read Children’s Past Lives by Carol Bowman? She also has another one about kids who have died then return to the same family. All her books have the greatest stories/proof for past lives.

Soul Survivor is a FABULOUS book too. It’s about a family whose toddler, James, started screaming horribly in his sleep and kicking up at the ceiling. As things unfolded and years went by, he gave incredible details of his previous life as a WWII pilot who went down in a burning plane in which he was trapped. His memories are VERY specific, including names, and his skeptic father, trying to disprove what his son was saying, found proof of everything instead, including men James knew and identified, and James’ previous family. We learn about men James knew who survived and those who died. Be forewarned, if you read it, you’ll need a box of tissues nearby. It REALLY makes on cry. It’s cathartic though.

Hey Elisa! Thank you so much for the offer to come visit your cabin in Hol! Would love to go while you guys are there:) my family and I took a trip to Norway when I was younger (since my grandparents are originally from there) and I will never forget how beautiful it was- especially the fjords! Stockholm’s not too bad either;) Much love!

yeah i took a break from Home with God and hung out on the Eternal Self website for a long time. I strongly agree with the section on organized religion – so refreshing. Am definitely feeling
more spiritually grounded this weekend. So glad again to have found you.

I’m so sorry, Lee. I understand what you’re going through. The books that helped me most: Your Eternal Self by R. Craig Hogan, PhD and Home with God by Neale Donald Walsch.

My real turning point came when I reached Erik through Kim. His personality came through so clearly, it felt like he was right by my side. From then on, I realized he wasn’t dead, that he was living in another dimension right on top of ours. All the quantum physics books have beaten down the skeptic in me even more. I didn’t think this was possible, because my education was so based in science. Fortunately, there is science behind the afterlife, the survival of the soul after death and other spiritual issues like God, etc.

I would like you to email me (emedhus@gmail.com) so I can give you my phone numbers. Please keep them with you all the time and call if you need an open and loving ear. Perhaps you can let me know your son’s first name as well as his age and the city where he died. I’ll get Erik to befriend him and help him come through to you.

Italia, I think not all of what we learn in our religious faith is from the divine. Some comes from human beings who 1) Misinterpret the Word of God, 2) People who use religion to control, oppress, enslave others and 3) The greedy who seek power and wealth. It’s important to distinguish which is which. I find that very challenging. You REALLY should read Your Eternal Self. It answers these questions so much better then I ever could, especially chapter 2.

Cool, Ingrid! And you’re welcome to visit our place in Norway. Have you heard of a tiny town in Southern Norway be the name of Hol? It’s about 20 minutes from the ski resort, Geilo. It’s also close to Aal. We have a cabin up high in the tundra above Rune’s childhood home. You’re welcome to use it sometime! We usually go there for Easter Break. Maybe you can join us next time?

I played a little game with Erik today that was pretty cool. I plan to post something about it today.

My nephews, Eirik and Sindre, are flying here Tuesday: first time in the U.S.. We’re going to turn them into true Texans, poor guys.
