It seems fitting to me that today we must spend time today pouring out our love and prayers to soldiers past and present, on the earthly plane and in spirit. Erik used to love all things military, so I’m sure he’d approve. He’s probably marching with them now.

The link is there, just invisible; roll the pointer over it and it expands invisibly. Click on and you’ll be taken to the site.

Today especially, let’s recall the final verse to the Marine Corps Hymn, a direct recognition of our real home in Heaven:

If The Army and The Navy
    Ever Look on Heaven’s scenes,
They will see the streets are guarded
    by Unites States Marines!

I’m in the LA area as well, and I do know where Topanga is…very pretty place. =D

Talking about the military; I’ve been hearing from my guides for a little while about how I could give reiki to veterans. I’m going to call the vet hospital this week and see how I could do that.

Once at the reiki circle I go to, 2 vets came who had been stationed in Texas. An older man brought a younger man who had PTSD. He told me the most requested therapy in the vet hospital there was reiki! Is that cool?! I’d love to give back in that way.

The guy with PTSD said it was the most peace he had had in years; that he was constantly feeling something akin (but much worse) than a “fight or flight” feelings for years and couldn’t sleep at night. To give a vet a moment of peace; that would fill my heart.

Some things I just want to bring up.

One of the things that Jesus taught was to turn the other cheek rather than react with violence, hate, etc.

Also, a number of the books I’ve read (“Spirit Teachings” and “More Spirit Teachings” by William Stainton Moses, books 1 and 2 of the “Conversations with God” series by Neal Donald Walsch, “More About Life in the World Unseen” and “Heaven and Earth” by Anthony Borgia) have all had a number of things to say about war. (And I can recommend all of those books for anyone who’s interested in learning more about spirits, the spirit world, life, yourself, and others.)

Without going into the details provided in those books (which all basically say the same thing but from slightly different perspectives), what is taught in them can quickly be surmised by the following two questions: What does war have more to do with – love or fear? And which of those two do you feel has more to do with highly evolved spirits?

And all present and future casualties of war (*regardless* of who they fought or are fighting for) can benefit from our love, light, and prayers.

I say bring our babies home. War has always been the downfall of any civilization.

    Hello,

mom2bzs, that’s too cool that you help out at the vet hospital. Having PTSD, I can only imagine having to relive the things vets must see during their tours. I don’t believe in war personally, however I do feel for vets, from anywhere. I wish more PTSD treatments were worked on, both for vets, and non-vets. Hearing you say reki helps and is often requested, I will look into it to try meself. Heck, couldn’t hurt. Again, a touching subject, and thank you for your healing assistance mom2bzs. **hug**

The killing in war simply makes the enemy an invisible one … not sure where I read this, may be in a Seth channeled book.
