Hey All,

Since Michelle and I are attending Kim O’Neill’s Intensive Angel Boot Camp, I’m going to make this post short. Sure, I’m compulsive, anal, Type A, but I have my little time-saving short cuts. The blogger’s cheat: Let someone else do it for you via a YouTube video. I’ll have to say, however, this one is amazing. Watch as scientist Dean Radin provides what I consider to be fairly conclusive evidence for a collective mind. Expect another little short cut tomorrow as I spend Sunday soaking up what I’ve learned from the seminar!

This is interesting. I myself often have things happen just prior to big events or even unusual events in my own life that are like alerts or something. Feelings, visions, migranes, images fleeting around, voices- (I hate that one), dreams are also big.
For example, just prior to waking up on 9/11 I had a really vivid dream that I have never forgotten. In it, my son and his best friend were running towards an airplane that had crashed in order to see if they could help anyone. It was in a big field and there was burning wreckage everywhere and I was like observing it all from space or something. A dark skinned, middle eastern looking guy came running towards them from the wreckage and said, “It’s too late, there is nothing you can do for any them, they are all young men.” I remember feeling devestated that we (they) could not help anyone because no one had survived and strongly not wanting to believe it. Then my son’s friend said to him, something like, “We will never forget this in our lifetimes.” Then I woke up, turned the TV on a short time later, just after the first plane hit. After the second plane, everyone on TV was just starting to speculate on who was responsible for what was happening and I just KNEW immediately that a group of relatively young dark skinned men had been involved. As an aside, around 11 am, my son showed up at my house with his best friend and we spent the day together watching it all on TV. Very unusal for them to spend that kind of time with me (they were 18 at the time and NOT into hanging around the house with my son’s boring, intrusive mom at all ;) but they seemed to need to on that day. I tried to tell them about the dream I had, but my son was like, OMG, Mmmoommm….
Well, I have had dozens of even more like, on target “incidents” but I have always been reluctant to deal with it all, it can be very overwhelming. Too much.

Wow, you’re guides are giving you information and you’re obviously good at receiving those messages! You would have loved Kim’s Angel Boot Camp Workshop!! Set let me know if you dream about my house burning down, okay, Candis?

We’re all hooked in. Do you remember the American pilot many years ago who disappeared about 25 years ago over the Soviet Union and was later found safe? He said he had been hiding in a tree? At the time, I went to pray for him, and got the message, there’s no need; he’s safe. Often when someone is missing, I’m told it’s too late because they’ve died or that they’ll be found, etc. I think this happens much more than is acknowledged by science because it’s so hard to do experiments.

@Candis: I had a VERY similar dream the night before 9/11, where we saw the wreckage of a crashed plane on the news and the news announcer (who was Bob Costas with long shaggy hair) said this was a defining event in our history. My friends and I then proceeded to try to find our way to the crash site to see if we could help but we kept getting lost. I also had foreshadowing type dream prior to the Space Shuttle Colombia disaster (the night before). Growing up in Houston, I’ve always been a big fan of the space program and the crash affected me deeply.

      Dang, Ty! That’s awesome!

Okay guys, here’s some rambling for you:

I’m currently participating in a program by David Morrelli which is designed to inspire and motivate us to move forward in our lives (spiritually, career wise, personal relationships, etc.). On Tuesday evening, October 19, I listened to the recording of the coaching call from earlier that day. In the call, we were instructed to construct our “compelling vision” that we would later work with. My “vision” wasn’t a job or a relationship or any one specific item. It was what I want to experience as my whole state of being, including my personal relationships (including my children and my perfect partner-to-be), my financial status, friendships, etc. I felt this “vision” to the very core of my soul.

On the following evening as I was helping my 9 year-old daughter into the shower, she began telling me about the dream she had the previous night (she was at her father’s house 20 miles away). My daughter went on to describe in MINUTE DETAIL my “compelling vision”. She described my perfect partner, our home, our pets, the area surrounding our home. She went on for about 45 minutes describing every detail down to what was in the kitchen cupboards. I was riveted to what she said.

So Jason, I’m interested in your take on this. Did my daughter just happen to hook into my deepest desire? Did she have an OBE? Did she slip into another reality where what I want already exists? Feel free to ask your guides (or Erik) if you want to comment on this. I was completely floored.

    Blessings,

    Shannon

Around the same age, Michelle shared a very detailed dream that I also had the same night. I think kids can tap into the collective web so well, they astral travel or just even pull information from various other beings. Good question for Erik, though!

That’s really cool Shannon and Elisa. I don’t have any experience with shared dreams. From what I’ve read most likely you created what is called your dream home. I am reading a book right now on lucid dreaming because I want to learn how. Same with OBE’s. The author says we all create them. But what makes you special is that your aware you’ve done it! That’s a big accomplishment in awareness. I’ve not done that yet.

As far as Erik and my guides go, we’ll have to save that for Robert or others. My guides don’t allow Erik to comment on stuff I need to learn on my own yet or that involve stuff they want me to figure out. But when and if I do get there I’ll be sure to let people know exactly step by step how. Right now I’m going to start by putting a note book and pen by by bed so I can write down dreams. I wanna get to a point so I can recall them. Then I gonna explore how to go about waking myself up during a dream. In fact today at work I was researching those steps. I am trying to write an article about what I find out.

Does anyone here know how to lucid dream your higher self for advice and guidance? If so what do you do?

  • Candis

Wow Ty, sounds like we were riding the same collective wavelength on 9/11! It always feels so eerie when I am experiencing the actual event that was so similar to the dream or vision. For me, there is always a slow motion quality to it all and the dream/vision keeps getting mixed up with the reality while it is actually happening. Like there are larger messages inside every second of it… if that makes any sense… schizophrenia comes to mind now ;)

    • http://drmedhus.com Elisa

      Heehee, you’re funny, Candis!

  • lidian

    Hi all,
This isn’t about lucid dreaming per se. But this thread reminded me of Patricia Garfield who has been doing dream work/investigation for decades. She has categorized dreams to the nth degree. She has an article about dreams that people who are grieving tend to have. It reminded me of your dream Elisa – the one where Erik wasn’t really dead – she says this is part of the recovery process (around pages 16, 17). Interesting piece of work so i thought i’d share it http://www.patriciagarfield.com/messenger_journey.pdf

    • http://drmedhus.com Elisa

Wow, Lidian, this is a fascinating link. I recommend anyone suffering the loss of a loved one read it.

Hey Jason, you don’t have to lucid dream to connect with your Higher Self. You should be able to connect consciously the same way you do with your Guides. When I channel for myself or others I call in my Higher Self when I call in my Guides and the Divine. It might be difficult to discern the energy because it’s you, but it would be worth trying.

OH! There is a visualization exercise you can do when you get into a meditative state. After you calm your mind and get your body fully relaxed, go to a “sacred garden” of your own design. In the garden, visualize a very large tree (like an Oak). This is the Tree of Knowledge that is grounded to the Earth and extends up to the Divine. It is connected to ALL knowledge that exists. In the side of the tree is a door. Open the door and enter the space within the tree. It’s a room and in this room is a chair where a divine entity is seated. Sit on the floor in front of the chair and notice the features of the entity in the chair. This is You! Your Higher Self sits before you and you can ask any question.

Give it a try and see what you come up with.

WOW!! I love this technique!!! True you don’t have to have a lucid dream to connect to the “oversoul” but I wonder how you distinguish between that and your guides.Gee, Robert, this sounds a whole lot different from the visualization technique Erik practiced with you! Care to share with the rest of the class? (heehee)

  • Shannon

Or you could just ask your Guides to help you connect! They are supposed to help you with these things :D

Hey Elisa! My mom also said that my daughter may have hooked into the collective, kids being closer to God and all. The funny thing is that she described things that I did not have a visual on because I was focused on the feeling of what I want to create. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next couple months!

    • http://drmedhus.com Elisa

What kind of things did she describe! Don’t be holdin’ back on us, Girl!!! (grin)

  • Shannon

OMG! She went on for 45 minutes! For starters, my guy is “…really tall, skinny (not fat like dad) and muscular and he has big feet!” I asked what color his hair and eyes are “…reddish-brown hair and light eyes, blue”. **My mom and I both get intuitive impressions that he’ll have green eyes. Nikki is used to seeing blue eyes because everyone in her dad’s family has blue eyes so we think that’s what she relates to light eye color. She went on to say, “…Mom, you are a doctor and that’s why we’re so rich!” I asked her what kind of doctor, she said “you’re a doctor that helps kids”. **I’m working on honing my energy healing skills so I can earn an income doing my life’s work but I’m considering working with kids at low or no cost, yet she has no idea of what I’m working on. However, Kim did a reading for me a while back and told me that my honey is a physician (plastic surgeon) who has an interest in holistic healing. Many times it has crossed my mind that he may specialize – pediatric plastic surgery. Again, Nikki has no conscious knowledge of my wandering thoughts.

Of course, by now she has my undivided attention so I asked her what my honey does for work. She said, “He fixes things like dad, only he’s higher up, more of a boss”. **Her dad does electrical work for a construction company and apparently supervises a crew. If you want to strip it down, a plastic surgeon “fixes things” and “is a boss” in a manner of speaking. She could also have gotten our occupations completely reversed since I do volunteer work and side jobs in construction. In both cases I’m usually either in charge of a crew or the entire project.

Nikki continued: “Mom you should see our house! Me and Alyssa (my 13 year-old) have our own rooms and a separate play room where all our toys are. Well, Alyssa doesn’t really have that many toys anymore so the play room is basically mine! In my room, I have a tall dresser like the one I used to have, mom, and in my closet everything is organized really nice. Alyssa has a nice organized closet too where all of her things go”. **Right now the girls share a room and a closet at both their dad’s house and mine. Despite my efforts to help them be organized, it’s still frustrating. She continued, “Oh, and mom, Alyssa has her books on shelves in the space under the stairs. It’s like her private library”. I jokingly referred to Harry Potter’s cupboard under the stairs and she said, “No mom, the stairs are open in between, you can see through them like at Uncle Tom’s house”. Geeeez! Okay! “Oh and mom, you have such pretty dresses in your closet and beautiful jewelry! Your frog prince (this is what my girls call my guy-to-be) has like 5 really nice suits. He has nice clothes!” Wooo Hooo! “Your closet is BIG! Oh mama, the kitchen is sooooo nice! The floor is pretty and the counter tops…” Here she described the layout of the kitchen and where everything is in the cabinets. On to the family room, “Mom we have a big flat screen TV and a nice leather couch. It’s really nice and comfy! There’s a cabinet with the video equipment and stuff in it and you have some pretty decorations on it too. We also have a laundry room where the dogs can come in and out when they want.”

I asked her if she saw where our house was, in a neighborhood, in the country,…”Mom, we live on a hill and the view from the front yard is BEAUTIFUL! Like the view the fancy houses have, you know, the houses on the way to my old school. We have 2 huge dogs, they’re black and brown, Buford and Bessie and they have their dog houses in the back yard under the patio…” She went on to describe our back yard, patio, garage where we park our cars, a workshop (well, my tools need a home too!) and our really nice housekeeper who drives a Mercedes that she keeps her cleaning supplies in! Apparently I have a new Mercedes as well since the one I’ve been driving is getting on in miles and all. My guy has a “…really nice, big….truck?” She looked a little confused. A while back (last Spring?) I was whining to my guides and asked them to at least give me a hint as to what kind of vehicle my guy drives. After a couple days I began to notice that everywhere I went I saw a Hummer. It didn’t dawn on me until about a week later when I was saying “come on guys, what does he drive?” and I realized I had just seen 6 Hummers within 5 minutes on the freeway I was on. Okay, I get it! I checked in with my guides again yesterday and asked if all these Hummers were just random and the answer was “No, we’re telling you that he’s coming soon!”

    Have I gushed enough?

Wow, it seems like everyone’s dream life, Shannon!! One you and your kids deserve!

  • Shannon

Awww, thanks Elisa! I’m curious to find out if there really is a loft in the garage where Alyssa goes to hide out and get away from her sister or if my guy likes beer the way Nikki described…wait, guys and beer is almost a given isn’t it? :) She did say that he’s nice and she really likes him. This from a kid who shies away from everyone!

Found this a really interesting topic for conversation. I thought Candis’ and Ty’s dream about 9 11 were amazing and it reminded me of a dream I had.
Bear in mind, I live in the UK and there is a big time difference.
In my dream, I walked into a huge mansion that was decorated in creams and golds and beautiful art. I briefly looked around the hallway, then climbed the stairs. I was drawn to one particular bedroom. I went in and there was a man lying in the bed. He was still and I knew he was dead. Beside him lay a young girl. She was crying and hugging him. There were one or two other people around the bed and I felt I was intruding. I left yhe room and went back downstairs and out the front door. Before me was a huge lawn with a barrier around it which was holding back hundreds of people. I could see reporters and TV crews, all talking at once and a helcopter flew over my head. I knew at once that someone famous had died.
Just then, my radio/alarm clock went off and I was awakened to the news that Michal Jackson had died the previous evening. This report hadn’t reached our British news before I went to bed the previous evening.
