Temporarily Out of Service

Hey All,

Today, I’m at my parents busy readying my mom for her surgery early tomorrow. It will be a day of surgical scrubs and laxatives and an early bedtime in anticipation of tomorrow’s reversal of her colostomy and more bowel resection. That said, there will be no entry today, and depending on how she does, perhaps none tomorrow. I hope you take the time to review past entries again, or for some of you who are knew to the blog, take some time to catch up.

    I read somewhere that if someone is having surgery you should ask your angels and the patients angels to attend the surgery and ask for a successful surgery and quick healing. I did this when my mother-in-law had knee replacement surgery and it worked. She is a bit of a hypocondriac and never has an easy time with medical stuff. She came through with flying colors and the doctors are commenting on her quick recovery.
