Channeling Erik

Here is a wonderful story of hope and connection. It filled my heart with such joy and comfort that I couldn’t run to the computer fast enough to post it.  Thank you, Stephanie, for sharing this miraculous story with the rest of your Channeling Erik family!

Stephanie’s Miracle

I had the most awesome experience last night, and you are the first person (outside of those who witnessed it), that I wanted to share it with.

My husband and I took our kids to Kennywood (amusement park) last night. We rode a water ride and I got pretty soaked. A few minutes after getting off of that ride, a beautiful butterfly landed on the sleeve of my t-shirt. This has NEVER happened to me, and I thought it was so neat.

Said butterfly proceeded to get comfortable – he was drinking water from my shirt. He was so calm and unafraid it was eerie. People kept coming up to me to look at it and talk about it. I didn’t want to disturb him, so we stood in the same position for almost 15 minutes.

My kids were then anxious to ride more rides so we started walking around. My new friend came along. People were pointing and some people even asked if they could take a picture.

At one point he flew away, but came back about 30 seconds later, which just blew my mind. This time he landed on the front of my shirt. He remained there for about another 15 minutes until my 10 year old begged me to ride a fast ride with her.

I didn’t want the butterfly to be hurt by the velocity, so I put my finger on my shirt, he got on my finger (again, I was amazed!) and I gently placed him on the branch of a pine tree.

Riley and I rode the ride. I can’t explain this, but I was feeling very sad and heavy hearted. I kept these feelings to myself, because it sort of seemed silly.  A couple of minutes later, Riley said, “Mom, I feel really sad right now”.  I love that girl!!

Anyway, sorry to be so long winded, but I feel so changed by that experience. I only wish I knew who the butterfly was!

Hope you are having a nice weekend!

Love,
Stephanie

Stephanie's Butterfly

I plan to ask Kim and Erik to share this butterfly’s identity during my next session and will keep you all informed!

Thanks so much for sharing my story, Elisa. I am still so amazed by it all.

Everytime I go outside to water the flowers, I attract at least one and sometimes 3 butterflies. After this happened enough times to notice, I started looking outside first to see if this might be a coincidence, if the butterflies were already there. Nope, I never see them before going outside. Within 10 or 15 seconds they show up, dance from flower to flower but just as often, they fly near me and just around the water spray. I also see dragonflies, which aproach and land a few feet away and sit for 1 to 2 minutes, fly around for 3 to 4 seconds and then land again for a few minutes, right next to me.
Never on my clothes, though, and I must say Stephanie, that’s quite an experience. I am more convinced than ever, these flying companions are much more than what they casually appear to be. Are Erik and friends sending them?

I’m hoping it was her Oma. I will ask Erik during my next session!

I have been having the same experience with dragonflies. I’ve never seen so many of them so often. Many times they have landed near and other times they continually fly around us while we are outside. I even had one fly very close and landed on my car the morning that my daugter first started Kindergarten. It kept coming back a few times. We just moved to Tulsa so I didn’t know if dragonflies are everywhere regardless but I do wonder…

Reading this gave me goosebumps. I have been seeing Monarch butterflies very frequently the last few weeks around my back patio. I never used to see butterflies in my yard. One was bouncing all over my potted plants inches from me and didn’t flinch when I went to examine it closely.

Coincidence that we are all experiencing this? I doubt it!

I don’t know if we’re all more aware of it or if Erik and our guides and deceased are sort of uniting together to “rally the troops” and to let us know that we all are a part of bringing enlightenment (in some degree) to the world.

Stephanie that is so awesome and special!! You must have been open to receive such an amazing experience as well as offered a safe place for that spirit to find refuge!

I too had a joyful experience on Thursday night with Dragonflies. My family and I were at my parents house. There were 8 adults, and 6 kids. We had just finished dinner outside and were watching the kids play in the water. I noticed a dragonfly come in to the yard where the kids were playing and thought, how cool it was that a dragon fly had decided to flutter in. I watched it intently, knowing what it could be. Within minutes, there were 2. My one sister reads this blog and we just looked at each other, knowing exactly what the other was thinking. I said to her that is was Erik and Paul(our dear friend who committed suicide a few weeks ago.) Within minutes, they began to multiply. After the first two were fluttering around the kids for about 15 minutes, as if to reassure the ones in waiting that it was safe, there were 3, then 4 then 6, then 8 and then we couldn’t count anymore. We were all amazed at how there were none one minute and then there were so many that came out of nowhere. I was beaming with joy and just smiled the whole time. For the next 45 minutes to an hour, 8 turned into somewhere between 20 and 40 dragonflies, flying around the kids at head level. I went into the yard and just experienced them flying around my head dancing in the wind. My family was joking, calling me the dragonfly whisperer. The other amazing thing was that they were the size of a small humming bird. They were huge for dragon flies. This whole hour brought joy to all of us that night. I would love to know if this was Erik and his entourage in action! Everyone had felt great happiness that they were there flirting with us. Elisa, could you ask if it was Erik? It was on Thursday 8/26.

We’re going through some very hard times. Maybe this is Source saying, “you are not alone! Life is more delightful when we realize we’re connected! Spread the word: we are One.”

Wow-that is awesome! Neat experience. I love what you said last Elisa and that really gave me goosebumps.

I had two dragonfly experiences this past Friday. First, my best friend told me about a movie she saw online the night before, called Dragonfly, starring Kevin Costner. I watched it on Netflix instant viewer, and it was about a man whose dead wife is trying to contact him by sending dragonfly symbols. There is discussion on dragonflies as symbols of returning spirits. Coincidence?

After watching it, I went to pick up my son from school and saw a wonderful bright green and black dragonfly come hover outside my car as I parked. I climbed out slowly and the dragonfly kept hovering near me, then moving ahead a few feet, then coming back, as if trying to get me to follow. I followed the dragonfly as it went towards a bush and landed, and looked at me – I could actually see the head swivel towards me. I put out my hand and it jumped right onto it and sat there for about a minute – wow! Then some younger kids came streaming out of the building and the noise and movement scared it away, but I was still stunned by the whole encounter.

Thank you to all and please keep sharing these stories, they are so comforting to read.

Aw, how cool that you actually saw it turn its head to look at you!! All these butterflies and dragonflies, it’s got to mean something! Are those on the Other Side trying to tell us something now that they have our attention?

  • Steve

I was leaving for work and rushing to my car at noon and a beautiful monarch butterfly did a wild circle around me and then raced off into another yard.
I’m telling you, this isn’t normal for Atlanta. I don’t see butterflies that often.
I’m ready to see some dragonflies now!

Maybe we should call ourselves The Dragonfly Brigade.(just kidding)

I just spent 4 months in Montana and spent a lot of time in my yard. I, too, have never seen so many dragonflies in the yard. One landed on my knee and sat there for longer than I would think one would. It kept staring at me. We held eye contact for so long that I was the one to break it. I felt I was looking into someone’s eyes. Barney, Erik ???

I’m definitely going to ask Erik about all of these dragonflies and butterflies!

i, too, have had several dragonfly experiences in the past few weeks. a few fridays ago i was at the cemetery visiting my parents and mentioned out-loud that, “it’d be pretty cool if someone came to visit me right now”. before i could even finish my sentence, a dragonfly fluttered about me. i literally laughed out loud, assuming it was erik (i couldn’t really decide if either my mom or dad would come alone, so erik seemed like a good guess). it was a great moment. a few minutes later, another dragonfly appeared and shortly after that…i kid you not…a third dragonfly came! i was crying tears of joy and felt so comforted by the experience. after some time when i decided to leave and the dragonflies had all fluttered away, i said aloud that it’d sure be nice to say good bye face-to-face, so to speak. sure enough, one of the dragonflies came near me and hovered over the grass long enough for me to walk over, bend down and say good bye.

then, last week i was visiting mexico. our hotel had dragonflies (or in spanish, libélula) everywhere i looked. they would fly in front of our balcony and hover near the swimming pool daily. while i’ve been nervous about sharing this site and these experiences with people, i ended up telling my cousin (and traveling companion) about you, miss elisa, erik and our community. afterwards, we were able to enjoy the dragonflies together, talking about so many of the family members we’ve lost over the years. there were so many dragonflies, it was impossible for us to even say “who” was visiting, but it was a lovely experience for us to share.

      God how those stories help.
