Since today is Easter, it is a day of resurrection. I know we have blog members with various religious beliefs, but this day, for me and hopefully others, is about resurrection of the soul. How best to do that than show love and kindness. This may well inspire you all.

Since this is a short post, it gives some of you new CE family members a chance to catch up on the archives. Welcome to you!

Love you all!

Ahh, that is so nice… And a little bit synchronictic on my part. Last night, Neil and I were sitting alone in the house, just chillin, having just gotten home from our wee break.
We were talking on the sofa and having a glass or two of the old vino when I said to Neil, ‘What is the one thing you like best about me?’ You could see the panic in his eyes, ‘what do I say to that!’ etc.. But he calmed himself, thought about it and said, ‘You’re a very kind person.’ Of course, I said, ‘Kind! I thought you were gonna pick some physical attribute -(as men do) – and I was a bit miffed he said ‘Kind’. But now I’ve seen that clip I realize it’s very important to be kind and I’m really glad that that is how, first and foremost – my husband sees me. Aw, he’s not so bad xxx

Ladies, men do not do well when put on the spot like Tracy’s husband was. Men typically don’t express themselves all that well, he could have had a week to think about that question and probably still would have muffed it up. :)

That was so lovely. I get more back from the person I am kind to. As we all know when you get a smile back from a stranger you have helped in some small way. It lifts me the whole day.

Tracy, decided to test this on my partner Garry. When I asked what it was he liked best about me , he said it was that I never make him feel threatened intellectually…after giving him the stare, he said being a good and person. Thats nice and like you Tracy, I am glad that he didn’t say my stunning looks and model like figure.

Love and kindness to you all x

That’s beautiful! Watching acts of kindness always makes me cry.
As for Easter, I attended a non-denominational service on Sunday which was really beautiful. While sitting there, it dawned on me that the Easter story all applies to each of us in that we all suffer, then have our Tomb Time when we go within and deal with our grief, and then are reborn into new and improved versions of ourselves. That is the opportunity with trauma and hardship. I am embarrassed that it took me 52 years to get it.
