Picking Your Brains

Hey all, I’ve racked what’s left of my brain and have gotten nowhere. I need suggestions on how to create a bookshelf, list of books, recommended reading, etc. for the blog. It can me on a separate page or a sidebar list. Ideally, I’d like blog members to add their own recommended reads, but if that’s not possible, I can add whatever they tell me to add.

Also, I’d like the media gallery of videos, photos, and audio files to be accessible to all blog readers. Any ideas?

I would ask my daughter, Kristina, but she’s just too busy and will be unable to help me in the foreseeable future.

Also, I just want you guys to know I’m having my first channeling session with Jamie Butler at 10:00 AM tomorrow. I’ll let you know how it goes!

    I know there are so many books and resources here to explore, it begs to be organized. God forbid you can’t find help sooner – but i do have a resource who’s available in a few months. My husband is a website guy – but he’s working in New Orleans till the end of the year and is crazy busy too.Jamie Butler’s website looks really interesting. It’s fascinating to follow your journey to different mediums – and to see where they are the same/different.

    Maybe you can have a separate tab on the top with recommended readings. So, there’s actually a separate page. From there their can be categories (e.g. suicide, quantum physics, channeling, life after death, meditation, etc.)

    I think it’s good to have categories b/c I can imagine that there’s a wealth of books that you and all readers can recommend!

    I have an idea, maybe you can make a Book List subject heading in the forum, and you and others can add posts for each book, with an initial review, and others can add comments on each book within that book’s thread. New Books could be added, with the title/author in the heading. Might be less complicated?

      That’s an idea. I’d like to have it less buried but I guess I can start with that. I might have to rely on you guys to add to that list because I’m pretty swamped. But I’ll start it off soon. xoxo

    I agree with Lidian that its fascinating watching you go to different mediums. Are you seeing who resonates the most or is the cost the reason you’re looking into other ones? How did you find Jamie? I too looked at her website. It was very interesting.

      Just had my session with her and she was great. Like Kim, she captured Erik’s humor. One of the members, Steve, told me about her. I wanted to check mediums in other price ranges for you guys. She’s $150/hr. I taped it and will post it bit by bit!

    Hello Elisa,

    Well, I have found the Indigo books to be very enlightening. Several of the stories in the 3 books talk about children telling their parents about thier past lives. One said she used to live on another planet in her last life, and that she was a queen there. Interesting as well, she said her people there talked to her via meditation. There are several stories about children talking about their past lives. One even mentioned that while she was in the womb, that a family member that passed away some time ago, stayed with her in the womb to keep her company till she was born. There was one that I liked about a woman who’s child was dying, tumor in the brain. She said while holding her child’s hand, she closed her eyes and asked that all the prayers bond together and come and kill the tumor. She said shortly after, in her minds eye she was this bright ball of light coming to the hospital. It came into the window and into her daughters brain and the tumor expoded into pieces of light. The next day, the tumor was gone. The doctors didn’t know what to say. So I recommend giving the books a read.

    There are 3 books. The titles are “The Indigo Children”, “An Indigo Celebration” which is my favorite of the 3 books, and last “The Indigo Children Ten Years Later”. I got all 3 on Amazon.com for about $5.00 a book. They normally sell for $14.00 new. The books have a website as well which is: http://www.indigochild.com/.

    I also came across a 7 part series on Youtube.com about the same subject, Indigo Children. One part of the video they do a interview with this 9 year old girl. She paints the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen. So very life like. Another part of the video, this mom is talking with her daughter. Her daughter, was her mom’s mom. The mom reincarnated as your daughter. How wonderful is that. The thing I found interesting was her memories of her life as her mom’s mom. She said in the end, she got really sick and then really cold. The cold was because they were packing her mom in ice to bring down the temp. She recalls being cremated. She said she was burned. That part made me cry. That would be a awful thing to remember. But she also said she remembers the song that was played during the service. All in all it was very interesting.

    I completely agree with Stanley on the Indigo books! I have two children who are Indigo’s and my youngest is a Crystaline! One of the things I find the most fascinating is that many adults are becoming Indigo’s and/or Crystaline’s themselves as they evolve spiritually and transition within their own auric fields. (I took this straight from the book) “They move from their original Third Dimensional state of awareness into the Indigo and then the Crystal states, with the assistance of the children who hold the vibration. These adults are now able to hold the Gold Ray of Evolution in their Eighth chakras, and are helping to create a matrix for the creation of the New Earth. This pulsating Gold light can be clearly seen in their auras by those with clairvoyance and the ability to perceive auric colours.”
    We see this happening with people all the time. It is truly incredible!!

    I meant to mention also that many of these children are being labeled with ADHD (Indigo’s) and Autism (Crystal’s). I think it is very important that we do NOT medicate these children as it numbs them to being able to fulfill their purpose here on Earth.

    I use FANCYBOX for WordPress on my site. It was very easy to install and I really like the look you get. I’ll think more on the book/resource list.     Hello Epeavey,

    You must have much patients. Indigo and Crystal children can be difficult to work with but these kids really have a huge heart. One suggestion for working with them if you don’t already do it, try to give options as often as possible. At least 2 options. Like “clean the room now, or in a hour” for example. And also doing like a hour of meditation is helpful. If any of them empath, I recommend clearing. It works well for me when I don’t like the emotions I am getting from others.     And for those of the kids who wish to develop their psychic abilities, there is a website with several good idea’s. The site is called: http://www.metagifted.org/topics/metagifted/psychicTrainingGames/. I choose to draw 5 symbols and make 5 of each one. I have my friend hold the cards and try to send me to symbol in her mind. I shocked myself. Not only could I see the image every time, but I also was able to see the card behind it. They appear to me as one image in top of another. The first 3 times I chalked it up to luck, but 20 times or so later I clearly saw it wasn’t a fluke. So I really suggest the game.

    I’m a Indigo myself. I was born in the 80′s when Indigo’s first started to be born (according to the data about it). I didn’t know for a long time, just felt really different. I had the gifts and all, but didn’t know there was a name for it. I just happened across Metagifted.com and that’s where I learned that there was for a name. It’s been a wild ride, one discovery about myself after another. It was about a year ago I learned the name for it. And felt much older than I was. Anyway, I won’t get into too much more detail on here as this isn’t the place to go into it. But I have links to many great Indigo sites. We can talk via e-mail if you want to talk more.       I think all of my kids are probably Indigo. That’s why I have to color those gray root every few months!! I definitely see you and epeavey as Indigos/Crystals. These are the children that will bring us into a new era of spiritual enlightenment.

    Forgot I wanted to comment to your other post. I have heard alot about the Crystals being diagnosed with Autism. And Indigo’s ADHD. I too was diagnosed AHDH as a kid. But I don’t see that as a bad thing. Having loads of energy should be a good thing. Meditation can really help bring you back down to center if your getting kind of manic. Meditation can be a good second option for Ritalin. I have the Ritalin too, but I only take it if the Meditation doesn’t work and I really need to keep my head straight for a extended period of time. So yea, I wanted to suggest that.

    Grey roots huh? Didn’t that tell you about that at the hospital when you gave birth? 100 gray hairs a month free of charge…lol. I don’t think anyone with kids doesn’t have grey hairs. Seem to come with the job. :)
