Channeling Erik

Update on Doug: He got out of surgery pretty late so I wasn’t able to visit him yesterday. I know the surgery went well, but he says he’s in a lot of pain, which is to be expected. I’ll give y’all another update soon. Meanwhile, keep the Reiki coming if you can!

For those of you signed up for the Atlanta Fun Fest, Weedie should have the hotel information tomorrow.

Last but not least, I’ve been playing with my iMemories account lately, so enjoy another home movie at the end of the post by clicking on “Erik’s Air Conditioning.”

Channeling Transcript

Me: Okay, now, let’s venture a bit from disease to something else. I’d like to know more about our soul group, Erik. First of all, how big is it? Just give me a “more or less” head count, I guess.

(Long Pause)

Me (thinking I must need to give more specifics to get this party started): Our core soul family, then.

Erik: Well, just keep in mind that you always have the right to leave your soul group, but our numbers—

Jamie (to Erik): Isn’t that kind of big? Eighty-four?

Me: Wow. That’ll be a hell of a family reunion.

Erik (laughing): We’re shakers and doers!

Me: Damn straight. Much to the annoyance of many people, no doubt.

Jamie giggles.

Jamie: Pretty funny!

Me: Okay, so 84, um, now is there a mother you’ve had in the past as connected as you and I are?

I think, “Please for the love of god say ‘no.’” Gulp.

(Short pause)

Me: It’s okay. You can say “yes” if there is.

Erik: Actually, there’s not, Mom.

Phew!

Me: Okay—

Erik: I’ve continued some really good friendships with my mothers from the past, but really, you and I been friends, we’ve been siblings, we’ve been all these things together—-

Me: Oh, yeah! That’s what I want to know too! What kind of relationships have we had? So, friends, siblings, mother/son—

Erik: We’ve been several different things, Mom. You’ve actually been my daughter before.

Me: Oh, wow!

Erik: Unfortunately, I remember I didn’t get to spend a lot of time with you due to a war situation.

Jamie: It looks like he pretty much had to leave for war.

Erik (jovially): But I didn’t die! I didn’t die!

Me: Okay. Yay!

Erik: I came back; I just didn’t get to spend a lot of time with you.

Me: Yeah.

Erik: And, we’ve been business partners. Look at us now, even. We were friends, mother/son, and here we are, as pretty much business partners.

Me: Yeah, I guess you’re right! That’s true. I’ll always feel like your mama first, though. But I was wondering if there was a mother/child relationship for you that was even stronger than ours, then when you crossed over, you probably, you know, um, the emotional, uh, strength of our connection might decrease from your perspective. You might think, “Meh, she was one of my mothers. You know, whatever. Blah, blah, blah.”

(Notice my nervous stammering. Please tell me there’s no Boogie Man.)

Jamie giggles.

Erik: Well, you definitely wanna seek your family members out from the past, but the connection is so fresh to the life you’re living right now.

Me: Oh, yeah, of course.

(Pause)

Me: Who, in the soul group, are you most connected to other than Jillian, Erik? Maybe name your top five in the group or whatever.

Erik: Um, there’s a brother in a past life, John.

Me: Okay.

Erik: I really respect him. I respect how he sees life, and how he handles it.

Me: Um hm.

Erik: Uh, I would definitely put you way up there. You always, always, in every life, made me a better person.

Me: Aw, good! And likewise, Baby.

Erik: You never failed to do that, Mom.

(Pause)

Erik: I would put, definitely, Jillian in that.

Me: Oh, yeah, and probably Michelle, I bet. I don’t know, you were pretty close here this last time around, anyway. I don’t know if that always translates into being close in the soul group in spirit.

Erik: Oh, most of the time, it does, Mom.

Me: Yeah.

Erik: God it’s so hard to pick five. I’d put Michelle, Ingrid—

(I have no idea who that is.)

Erik: —and everyone else in our immediate family, of course.

Me: Oh! I just realized I’m going over time here. Sorry Jamie. Thank you for a wonderful session, and Erik, I love you very much Sweetie.

Erik: I love you too, Mom. Keep up the great work! I know I give you a lot of hell sometimes, but you know I love you!

Me: Aw! No you don’t! Alright, I love you too! Bye Jamie. Get some sleep!

Jamie (giggling): I will. Bye!

Great questions as always. 84 people in soul group – I didn’t know they were that big. I suppose it makes sense, we come across new people from time to time that we just ‘click’ with. Must be same soul group.

Home video is sooo sweet and funny. Anika legs dangling on the sofa in the background – hahaha! Man, I would have bought Erik’s invention! :-)

Elisa these are exactly the kind of questions I would ask. It makes sense, and is good, to know that when we feel powerful love and extrememly deep connection to someone it’s not just us or a function of our human emotionality. It’s b/c that connection actually is there & powerful beyond the human realm.

Sending lasers of light for healing and easing of pain to Doug.

This post brings up a question in my mind that I have had for yeras. I know that mom’s love all of their children, but the connection thing.. Like you Elisa, I have been certain for years that my son and I have a connection that extends beyond this lifetime – but I only have one child. So I always wonder if (the “in tune”) mom’s generally feel that way about all their children, or if you have several children, are there differences, beyond the love and connection you feel for them in this lifetime – like do some of them seem to be more connected from additional lifetimes or all of them do, only in different ways?

I definitely feel different connections with each kid–abundant and infinite love for each, but a different connection, yes.

Interesting :-) Yep I’m certain my younger son has been someone very special in previous lifetimes with me, as with my older son too…Cool ;-)

I love to discuss past lives and the connections we’ve had. I watched a documentary last night and in it there was a segment about James Leininger and his past life as a fighter pilot. Has Erik ever mentioned why someone like this kid remembers so much and yet the rest of us have soul amnesia?

    • http://drmedhus.com Elisa

I think he said it’s typical of souls who come back to assist in the Awakening. They come back forgetting less.

Interesting! So far as I understood it and as learnt in some Hypnotherapy courses here is what I knew.

    SOUL FAMILY = 7 souls
    SOUL GROUP = 7 Soul Families = 49 Souls.

We always learn and we grow!

Perhaps Erik is talking about a “Soul” and this was a “MONAD” that we were taught…A Monad is the oversoul…the whole soul and from that Monad many different personalities can come – either at different ‘times’ or even at the same time…for example I could have a Parallel Soul (from the same Monad as me living on Earth, let’s say in the US right now – the idea of that would be that they are ‘settling’ some of the karma and I would be doing the same, which was created by one soul in another ‘life’…so this way we can get faster soul growth)…

Here’s also something I wish to share, a CONTEST with my publishing house for women who wish to become published Authors… details are on the PRESS page of my website, here is the link – http://www.dhruvpublishing.com/press.html

Please copy and paste and share with your friends…this may be a way to connect with someone from your soul group? :-)

    Love and Light…

So you really ARE the best mama for Erik! ;) so cool!

Well I feel a connection to you and other people on this blog, wonder if it means we are in the same soul group. To be honest I thought our soul groups were much smaller! I was thinking like 20 people.

    • http://drmedhus.com Elisa

I think our soul group is big cuz we need all the help we can get!!!

  • Skoshi

    What a Sweetie.

Continuing to send Reiki to Dr. Doug. : )

  • Denise

When you asked about “our soul group” I figured you meant your immediate family. Did you mean the blog family? That number seems big for your immediate family but small for the blog family. Although if we’ve had several hundred incarnations
    84 isn’t that big.

Candis, I am the youngest of eight kids and I am close to one sister in particular not so much with the others. Even though many have moved on (down to 4 of us left) it has always been that way.

    • http://drmedhus.com Elisa

I think soul groups can include some family members, but can also include some friends, some co-workers, or even strangers who have an impact. It crosses all sorts of barriers. I’m sure many of you are in my soul group!

  • nikki

I am a HUGE MJ fan. Elisa have you channeled him?

    • http://drmedhus.com Elisa

Nope but coming to a blog near you!
