Channeling Erik member, Lisa, who lost her son, Landon, to suicide, shares invaluable information for those whose lives have been affected by suicide on the radio. Please listen to her story. (Sorry about the technical difficulties with the audio link. I couldn’t get the audio file code to cooperate, so I just inserted the link to the page with the interview on it.)

Dear friends,

Today I had the privilege of being interviewed on K-TALK radio about suicide, mental illness and NAMI. I don’t mean to darken your email doorstep with such depressing talk, but hey, how often do I get to talk on the radio, even if it is an AM station??? And Landon gets to sing!!! Yes, I am forever a proud mama. But seriously, you also know that I will forever plug NAMI and do my part to assist in overcoming the damnable stigma of mental illness. Did you know that one in four people is affected by it? I know that at some point, you will have a conversation with someone who needs to hear that NAMI can help. It’s all free. How cool is that?

So here is the link. If you have 10 minutes to kill, listen in. You may never again have such a fabulous opportunity of hearing both me and Landon together on the radio!!! You’ll have to listen to a couple of minutes about gold and silver prices first, sorry. Seems they could edit a little better, but who am I to criticize??

I love you all-
Lisa

    Re: Conspiracy
I must admit that for a little bit I was drawn into the conspiracy paranoia concept presented earlier. Then I ran across something that snapped me back to my core belief.
I have included the link below: It’s a different Eric. It’s a little long, but if you have time please enjoy the whole story and the music.
This person’s music speaks to my heart spirit.

We are the master painters of our lives and the owners of the power and consequences of our self created realities. Our state of being which is the key to joy, is the center of the core activity of that power.

In my humble opinion as the number of people driving towards enlightenment increases, a critical mass is being crossed that will result in a better world. I believe we’re living in this time to experience just that. The ‘net’ allows us to connect AND provides ways to act. I’m thinking that if we keep finding ways to connect on a global basis envisioning the kind of peaceful, joyful abundant world we want, IT WILL HAPPEN. Perhaps if we emotionally and spiritually focus in 15-20 minutes daily meditation on the experience of such a world, it will serve as a point of power, personally and globally.

If we are the master painters of our lives I choose to paint it with positive energy, projecting love inward and outward. Those that choose to paint with the negative brushes, bless them all and I hope it serves their purpose quickly.

Lisa what a great interview, thank you so much for allowing us to listen. Youre doing a wonderful thing bringing awarness of suicide and other mental health issues. I have had issues with my oldest daughter cutting and having suicidal ideations, it took sending her to a residential treatment facility to get her help and understanding. She has made a full recovery and is off and running now, but I couldn’t help and think what would have happened had I just said oh well it’s a kid thing she will grow out of it. Keep up the good work !!!

    Hello Elisa,

Very great link to the interview Lisa did. She shares your flame for getting in there and helping others. And Lisa’s right, sadly few people understand the struggle of mental illness. Shockingly to me, my mom made a comment a few years back “You must like being depressed otherwise you would have gotten better already”. Pretty shocking to hear, especially from a parent. And it really just goes to prove that so many people, even parents don’t really understand mental illness and how it works/effects a person. It’s something that everyone should do research about and learn. Since learning about my own mental illnesses I have spent time researching my own illnesses and understanding it. One great site I visit is Psych Central (http://psychcentral.com/). I get their news letter by e-mail. They also have a forum with a area for each mental illness. Good place for support. I just wish that there was a website out there that had all the links to those places of help out there. So many are great but not much word about them out there which makes it difficult to find all those little gems of help out there. So thanks Elisa for helping with that. NAMI is a great group and they really do help so many people. **hugs**

Suicide is such a hidden problem in our society. The AC repair guy who came to my house Sat night (my system was down) was late and apologized becuase he had gone to a funeral. His uncle (mid 40s), had sat in a swing in his mother’s yard and blew his head off with a shotgun. No warning. He seemed fine. He was a great guy, a nice guy, always smiling. The family was completely shocked and befuddled.

I hear about these kinds of scenarios more than I’d like to. Times are tough, the world is changing, and suicide is a real problem. I’m hoping that as a culture we start to learn to deal with mental health issues more seriously.

But instead, we are focused on the wrong things – greed, finger pointing, wars, prejudice, ignorance, more greed. We really live in crazy times.

Thank you Lisa, unfortunately I undertstand her pain all too well. I think that had a lot to do with it. The professional community did very little besides throw medication her way.Blessings.♥♥♥

Where were you all these years that you didn’t hear of Avalon and HAARP? I’ll tell you were you were…taking care of your sister and Erik and the rest of your family. “Your head was on fire” symbolically. That’s one more reason why I believe in doing good deeds to lighten the load of others and asking Source to send strength and wisdom to those who are of good will…so they have enough time NOT dealing with crisis situations so they can invest time and energy into spiritual development.

That “magic” mirror mentioned in the last post, by the way…Nostradamus is said to use one. If you look on the front side, it looks like a fairly normal mirror, but when you look on the back, it is “different” to say the least! Nostradamus also talks about stargates and all kinds of mechanical and biological warfare weapons the population doesn’t know about. He says England will accidentally, through computer error, attack France with one of these weapons and a lot of people will be killed. France will be furous (of course!) but everyone will recognize it was done in error.

If anyone thinks a biological weapon can be developed to JUST attack China, they’re crazy. There are people of Chinese dissent and with Chinese DNA all throughout the US and, indeed, the world, and ALL germs end up mutating. That’s why they have to make a new formula of flu vaccine every year.

I had to laugh again at the Ryan video displaying Obama’s campaign photo with the Illuminati information when I heard on the news that the Royal Wedding invitation list had been released. I didn’t hear of anyone black, including the Obamas, being invited to the wedding; the news report said it’s a networking opportunity. One report used the excuse that it was a family event and William isn’t in line for the throan and the couple don’t know the Obamas. That doesn’t pass “the laugh test.” The report also said there will be lots of people there William and Kate don’t know, and there’s been talk for years that Charles will be passed up and William made King when the Queen dies, and she could die any day; no one has a promise of tomorrow. Can you imagine the outrage if Camilla becomes “Queen”. I know they’ve made provisions so that won’t happen, but let’s get real…if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck…and is married to a King, it’s a Queen.

Please join me, if you’ve the inclination, once a day for 15 minutes or half an hour (or more, if you have the time), in saying to Source: it’s my intention to act as an antenna for the loving energy coming in at this time; to anchor it; to gather and augment it; to distribute it to where it is most needed in the earth for the benefit of the earth in this time of change and for all connected in any way with the earth.

Light is more powerful than darkness.

You so right Steve, life is so complicated and seems to be getting more polarized by the day, too much right vs. wrong judgement instead of just caring for people. Suicide is getting more common, less hidden, perhaps forcing us to have the important conversations.
