Although I’m not against those who seek wealth, I believe it’s important to realize that it cannot bring meaning to life. Only we can do that. And that means we must leave this world a better place than when we came here, even if by small measure. Enjoy this video, a beautiful illustration of this philosophy. Hopefully most of us will not have to straddle Death’s threshold to absorb this into our hearts, our minds, and our actions. We must ask ourselves: What is it we’re here to do? Are we holding on to things or beliefs that we shouldn’t? Are we fulfilling our purpose? Are we choosing the path of Love over that of fear?

I hope all of you enjoyed Mary’s song yesterday. I’d like to share another of her masterpieces today as well.

One of my purposes is to write about subjects just as discussed in this great video.
This blog is a partial catalyst HOWEVER I feel guilty about longer posts, comments, poems and what-have-you that could distract from, interfere with or erode the greater purpose of Channeling Erik.

Here is a link where I post things; the first will be about the money discussed in the video.

I tried clicking on the site, Patrick, and there is no writing that I can see. Maybe you’re trying to hard to make posts short? (heehee)

I haven’t posted it yet! (9:03 PM central time) I started watching college football, Navy vs South Carolina and then Notre Dame & Michigan State….I got distracted….tomorrow AM! The time I would otherwise spend in church. (yea, right…)

The only wealth I want to accumulate is the wealth of loving connections and wonderful memories in this lifetime. Money, things, are truly meaningless. Relationships and helping others are why we are here.

Loved the video of Gordy! What a remarkable story! What a remarkable man! Can’t get enough of the positivity that is “out there.” God Bless You!

Our “resurrected millionaire” said he really enjoyed making money. What did he enjoy? What really gave him pleasure? What did the money itself do for him?

    What is money?

    A coupon.

Somebody does something for someone who gives coupons to redeem. Imagine all coupons disappeared in an instant. Every bank balance, every piece of cash, every coin suddenly ceased to exist, no longer was.

What would happen to uncollected checks? So long; wallet fillers and nothing more. The unpaid remaining balance on a car loan? The bank would repossess the car but sell it to whom? How would the buyer pay? This also assumes the bank would have a way to pay for the repossession, and also assumes the bank could get the paperwork into court that operated without paying employees.
Mortgages on houses; who would buy the house?
Dogs don’t care about coupons. Cattle, horses, birds – do any of them care about salaries, prices and rates of interest?

Our resurrected millionaire lives a far more modest material existence and he’s richer. Less cash, less flash, less dash. A good way to worry about your coupons is to have a lot of them.
Why would a person with less coupons envy a big holder of many coupons? Let’s see; do coupons make the holder smarter? Sexier? Thinner? Faster? Experienced? Compassionate? Capable? Understanding? Healthy? A better driver? A better listener? Better father? Mother? Friend? Driver?

Do the coupons make a person educated? Intelligent? Athletic? Generous? Faithful? Do lots of coupons in the bank make anyone multilingual? Well read? Accomplished at a chosen trade? Clairvoyant? Stupid? Dumb? Criminal? Drunk? Addicted? Violent?

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no and no.

    Why chase them?

Tomorrow Erik Medhus waves his magic wand and every human being on earth that has money suddenly has 5 times as much. You had ¥ 200? Now ¥1,000 £ 500? £2,500

Can suddenly everyone wear 3 shirts at a time? Eat three times as much food? Drives two cars at the same time? If we all rushed out to buy one more of everything we have, would there be enough to buy? Are there enough cars for sale right now for everyone with a car to buy another car? If you have two, can you buy another two? So when the supply falls short, does the price GO UP and cut into that new found cash?

If all “savings” suddenly evaporated – and nobody could retire – would that cause hunger? Immediate mass firings? Higher milk prices? Mucho hot air from talking heads on TV?

    Hello,

First, about the out of body experience. I LOVE IT!. I know I sound kind of over the top, but I do. Especially since when Sandra died my grief was blocking me, and finally last night was the first time I was able to get out of body since she died. I was estatic.

Of course the love and peace you feel when out of body is terrific. I like how my body feels as well. When I leave my body, it feels like my spirit can finally stretch out. Out of body, I feel 6 or 7 times the size I do in my body. When I do it, I just float. Almost like being on your back in the swimming pool, but no water. Totally weightless.

When I get back in my body, I feel terrific. I could be dead tired, but when I get back in my body, I feel so energized, like I just woke up from a year asleep.

But to imagine a near death experience, to meet beings and such, that must be amazing. Aside from the near death part. It makes sense that he would come back a changed man.

Which brings me to the money. I find is sad, those who are so rich they couldn’t possibly spend what they have in 10 lifetimes. All stuck in a bank doing nothing. They have this huge chance to help so many people, and they just let it pass them by.

My life’s work is to help children and teens. And I have. I had not been in my new place for a month when I met the woman upstairs who happens to have two Indigo kids age 2 and 3. What are the chances I am here now?

I think we are always shown chances to help others, but it’s up to us to act on those chances. And money doesn’t buy you happyness. I can’t speak for everyone, but it seems as long as I act on as many chances as I have to help others, the important things fall into place.

I was short food money this month, that money came when needed. It seems like what I need to survive, is provided as needed. I don’t get tons of cash or stuff like that. But it almost feels like my guides make sure I have just what I need to survive. And for that, I am thankful.

In return, I make sure to act on as many chances to help others as I can. That’s my two cents on todays post. :) Be well everyone.
