Ego and Love Energy

I had the most incredible walk in the Arctic tundra surrounding our cabin. (I took a video which I’ll post on the blog when I get home.) Wow, what a Zen place to hike. As usual, I started to channel Erik, and he taught me a lot about ego versus humility. He and I are rather ego-weak. (I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing, but I figure it just IS.) People like Erik and me seek a different kind of energy to nourish ourselves. We thrive on giving and receiving Love Energy. People who have stronger egos derive their energy from a wider range of sources: material and financial success, competitive sports, a sense of pride for personal achievements, and other ego-driven journeys and goals.

Unfortunately, it’s easy for souls like Erik and me to become lonely, because we need to surround ourselves by those who are willing to receive and give love. Such people are often hard to come by, because ego-driven people are more plentiful and maybe don’t have such strong needs for Love Energy. He didn’t say as much, but I think I need to try to learn how to absorb a wider variety of energies, because by subsisting on Love Energy alone, you have to depend on others willing to both accept and give affection. With external sources of energy, you can depend more on yourself. Since I’m not a very clear channel for Erik yet, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Channeling Transcript

Me: You know, they say that all the universes are different, like membranes shaped as sheets and donuts and cylinders, etc. and that maybe sometimes these membranes collide and the points of collision created matter. Is that something that’s possible?

(Pause)

Jamie (laughing hard): Erik’s laughing.

Erik: Absolutely possible, Mom, but knowing how things are built is not going to give you more understanding about what you’re in.

Me: Oh, yeah. I know, but I just find this stuff interesting.

Erik: Why are people trying to focus all their energy on unraveling mysteries like that instead of understading why they’re in it? We gotta look at that.

Me: Oh, all right, then. So you want me to leave all that to the physicists?

Erik: Yeah, perfect.

Me: Okay, here’s another one then. It’s from a blog member. Is it possible to bring into our family, the Channeling Erik family, the healing talents of interested medical personel on the other side.  He says, “I can see it: Medhus Metaphysical Clinic of Healing and Regeneration!” It would be cool to work together with such spirits to help heal people.

Erik: Absolutely! But ya gotta find the right channel. The channel has to have NO ego, they can’t accept the healings as his or her own.

Me: I see.

Erik: If you find the right channel, trust me, healers over here would jump right into that.

Me: It reminds me of that psychic surgeon from Brazil, Arigo. Some deceased German spirit had picked out another channel before he wound up working through Arigo, but there was too much ego involved, so he backed out and went to Arigo who was just an uneducated peasant working as a miner in some remote village in Brazil. Dan sent me the book about him. It’s really good; you should read it. Anyway, Arigo was very humble, no ego and refused payment of any sort for his services. I guess that’s why he was so successful.

Erik: Exactly.

    To answer that I think I feel if I can understand how the universe works then I can better understand what I’m supposed to be doing in it. So maybe that is something I can let go of and only persue as entertainment because I find it fascinating.

      I agree. No offense to Erik, but I just want to know how the universe works, even if it doesn’t really further my spiritual progress.

    I completely understand what you mean about “ego” being a similar soul myself. I’m working on my energy level and maybe I should explore other sources. I’ve never been one to chase after money, fame or personal achievement. But I did enter a poetry contest recently – so just maybe:) Actually, even that was more about sharing something than about me. I rarely take credit for anything I’m involved in because it always takes a group.

    Personally, I think you should be taking credit for all the work you’ve been doing to increase the love in this world through your blog. And if you weren’t so low on ego this blog might not exist because you would be too busy chasing money, fame or trophies. I’d rather have your low ego of LOVE than any other energy I could imagine.

    I hope you’re having a splendid time! I can almost see the countryside as you describe it. Don’t forget to look for something outside the cabin!

    Hi Elisa!

    Just wanted to tell you that I just had my first channeling session with Jamie today. (I’ve been such a big time fan of the work you guys do on this blog, that I felt compelled to have a session of my own.) Well, I had asked Erik–if he was willing and able to join us–that he was more than welcome. Thankfully, he did show up throughout the entire session!

    First, he had such sweet things to say about me, and he said that he’s been popping up in my life with funny smells and off-hand thoughts to make me laugh (now I know where they came from LOL!). This was really comforting because I’ve been in a weird emotional rut/funk.

    Secondly, he shared some really important information about how I can heal myself from my father. We have had a troubled relationship for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been utterly lost on how I can heal and move on.

    I’m so grateful that he came through and provided so much insight, help and LAUGHS!! He did this really funny impersonation of a Southern preacher when he was telling me what I needed to do…it still makes me laugh!

    Thanks so much for sharing your son with us. You two have been such a gift to so many of us who found your blog.

    Keep it up, if you touch some health care providers, how awesome would that be for them to be more sensitive to death & assisting that process with people fearing that. Most of us fear the “White Coat” clinical bedside manner approach.

    Dear Elisa What a beautiful vision of your hike,sounds unbelieveable.Whenever I go to the sacred site in a rainforest on top of a mountain over here in Australia I feel so full of love and belonging,almost like I am one with my son Dean.I find in the midst of a beautiful place in nature my son and I are so very close,almost overwhemlming.I think I may have weak ego too because when I feel Dean (my son) is visiting me and my lamp flickers I just feel compelled to give my love holding my hands out just giving him all my love and then I get his love back so clear pure and strong in my heart.This is what we do almost all the time.I am passionate almost about the universe….read many books ….and then read them again.HHHmmmmmm..??So intense and amazing.I thankyou and Erik for this site,I so look forward to reading and learning and growing.So many beautiful people. love Kate

    Dear Elisa,

    It is all about consciousness my dear friend. Our Consciousness is simply our personal view of the world. In that case there are are about seven billion separate consciousnesses throughout our world. Why does there seem to be such a lack of love in this world at times? Because they have not discovered the simple truth that as we go within we discover, within our hearts, a piece of the Eternal One. This piece of the Eternal One is given as a gift to each one of us.

    As we learned through our hippie scientist the part contains all of the whole. So, in these fragments of the Eternal One the part contains all of the whole. That means that the Infinite Father dwells within the minds and hearts of each one of us since the part contains all of the whole.

    This Father fragment is also called the I AM presence or the Infinite consciousness of the Eternal One. What we are all attempting to do here is to become one with that Infinite Consciousness. That is because contained within that Infinite Consciousness is a love that we cannot even dream about. The love of the Eternal one is so pure, so gracious, so beautiful, so tender, so gentle, so kind. All we need do is state that our intent and our will is to become one with the Infinite One and His love will cascade upon our hearts and our minds like a gently falling rain.

    On this earth we exist apart. We seem to think that it is “us” against “them.” Yet, we are all on the same team. If we are attempting to “graft” ourselves onto the Infinite consciousness of the Eternal One then we are all on the same team. Our consciousness is simply our view of the world. As our view of the world coincides with the Infinite consciousness of the Eternal One our own consciousness, or view of the world expands. Our consciousness will expand eternally as new horizons open up to our eyes.

    My dear Elisa you have a heart a wide as the universe. Your love is what defines you. So, when you feel a lack of love, contempt, hatred, prejudice and so forth, your heart is deeply hurt. But the Eternal Father is teaching us that the greatest power in the universe is unconditional love. Love is the true power of the cosmos.

    I wrote this for friend of mine, but I share this with you also Elisa. I love you dear sister.

    The Love That Resides In Our Hearts

    My dear Elisa, there is such a lack of love in the world. This world is so desperate and needy for the love that resides within our hearts. As we walk the jagged roads of our sphere down the corridors of time will we be beauty sublime? For what is beauty, but the love that we give away freely?

    If you have ever taken a walk in a beautiful park you understand. All of the cares of the day and of your life fades away and beauty reenters your heart. There is a symphony of natural sounds that surrounds your ears. In the distance you hear the cry of the whippoorwill. Right next to you there is a little chipmunk scampering through the brush. The sun is high in the sky as its beams reflect off the surface of the lake. Tiny ripples splash gently against the lake’s shores. You hear the sounds of children laughing and playing as their sound rides on the wind. Without a sound you have rediscovered the beauty that resides within your heart.

    As we walk the paths of our daily lives why not view these ones as the silent beauties that they are already are? For the Father on high views them in that way. When the Father wants to commune and go where beauty resides He spends time with His children in the quiet of their lives. They are the beauty of the sun as it rises. They are the sound of the wind through the trees. They are the light that reflects off the lake. They are the sounds of children laughing as their sounds reaches His ears.

    When we look at our brothers and sisters of this world view them as you would the indescribable beauty of nature in which words are not adequate. This world will change when we see that beauty has surrounded us all of our lives and we failed to see it. Revel in the beauty of the living, breathing works of art that are all around us. Give out the love that dwells within our hearts to these living beauties and watch, watch as a garden blooms upon our world of such magnificence and such beauty that even our Heavenly Father will weep tears of joy.

    Hi Elisa,
    You’ve given me the answer to why it’s been so painful for me to find true friends in life. I was always trying to give love and receive it from others as the most important thing among all but I seldom had it my way. I should have known better… Since Santi left me in 2007 I live the life of a monk in a monastery because I feel I need to protect myself from what I call spiritual canibalism. To be honest, I don’t recommend it to anybody at all. We all need to share our feelings and needs with other people and the closest they are to our heart, the better.
    Do you think I could be of any help to you and the healers from the other realm? If you do, please put me on the list. I want to help. Thanks!

      Oh Nancy, we seem to be so alike. I too am very lonely. My friends are in hiding as am I, my family doesn’t seem to need the whole love thing like I do. Can you help the healers here and from the other realm? My goodness, you already have and already are. You are so cherished here and I know I don’t just speak for myself.
