Blog member, Boris, found a jewel of a film about life after death. It looks like it’s in Portuguese, but with English subtitles. If any of you know how we can get our hands on a copy, let us know. I’m not even sure it’s been on the big screen yet or not!

Thanks, Boris!

    Chico Xavier was a Brazil great medium, (faithful follower of the Allan Kardec spiritual doctrine), he never charge for channeling sessions in all his life, he kept his job (which he retired) and also help all without never charge money for his service;
    He used to send letters to the mothers of the spirits who communicated with him, even without knowing these people; he sent them the letters with the child’s message from the afterlife, was a great person, and a great medium;

    thanks

    The trailer was very nice, since I lived in Brazil years ago and learned to speak “português no meu tempo là” but something tells me the scenes are far too dull when compared to our real home. It’s interesting because it reminds of a terrible joke I heard more than several times in Brazil. God was creating the world and the souls around Him pointed to the very large country planned for the continent to be called South America. God had informed that all things would be distributed evenly, both challenges and His blessings. They remined Him that this largest country in South America had a great climate, abundant resources, beautiful unending coastlines, plant and animal life beyond imagination, unequalled natural beauty and no hurricanes or earthquakes. It appeared unfairly good. God calmed the worried souls, assuring them that “you haven’t yet seen what PEOPLE I’m planning to put there”.

    I wonder now, after making pemanent friends with many Brazilians, if they have all chosen their time in such place and this film was always destined to be a Brazilian film because of those souls.
    “Mesmo assim, eu não consigo aguardar atè poder vê-lo.”
    All the same, I can’t wait to be able to see it.
