My head is going to explode and it's all your fault! You sure make my brain work overtime! My feeling (which should be taken with a grain of salt,) is that some of us are more evolved than others, but this is not based on how long our soul has been around. I think it has more to do with how many incarnations we've been through. Some souls don't incarnate at all because it's so friggin' hard. Some are lazy and only work on their issues with occasion incarnations or have easy lives where a lot of coasting is involved. Others get it all over with and crank out one hard life after another to get through it all. Just like some humans are more ambitious than others, I guess. I think we forget because to remember every past life would be a distraction making it difficult to focus on the purpose and lesson for this life. Why do we have to have the human experience to evolve? Why can't we just learn it all in the afterlife? I have no idea. Maybe it's like this. We can read books about how to fly an airplane and now all about it conceptually, but we have to get behind the controls to really know it experientially. As for your feelings as a father, of course you create their physical bodies, but your kids are probably part of your soul group too. You probably have an agreement with them formed between lives so that you can help them grow, they can help you grow, or both. What kind of dedication, steeped in trials and tribulations, could be more loving and intimate? You have probably parented your children many times. You've probably been their best friends, their siblings, their offspring. Just the love spanning so many lifetimes and centuries makes the relationship with them that much deeper, that much stronger, that much more meaningful. I have to say these words feel channeled. It's the outer that has been so difficult and I am in dire straights now. Please keep me in mind, Elisa. As far as my understanding goes the past the present and the future are all flowing into one another and we are living parallel lives as we speak. Our ego's are structured the way they are to enable us to focus on the lifetime we are experiencing now because it is THIS particular lifetime that is most important in our over all experience. Sometimes, our other lives bleed into this one. For instance, a channeler once said I had a lifetime in Greece with my present parents. I was female then too. I had all the privileges of males & the only thing they denied me was a lover/mate. When I got this reading I didn't quite know how to relate to it. My parents never denied me seeking or recieving love. They gave me a very very hard time when I first came out- that was 40 years ago. Eventually, they came around to being hospitable and even welcoming to my female lovers. Though my mom would probably love for me to end up with a guy. She has said,"at your age does it matter?" It's very weird. I always had companions, friends was able to find and be found by friends and lovers. I have been in a major drought for a long long time. But when I received that reading that was not the case. My parents were somewhat lax about my getting an education. I have always been curious. I feel like a completely different person from a year ago, i feel alive, I feel as if anything is possible. humanity is walking around in a fog, brave souls such as yourself are leading the way. I like many others suffered from depression,I didn't understand why I was here, or what I was supposed to be doing. I still had my spirituality, but i ached for answers. It's been painful, but now i feel free, in awe of the world and its inhabitants, and humbled by the universe. I'm no longer waiting on anything, I'm doing and enjoying, better late than never!!!!
