A Sad Announcement

I just heard that Skoshi will no longer be visiting the blog. Apparently her computer acts up every time she does, and she has to reboot. She spent all day trying to fix her laptop, has missed work, has had to take it in the the “computer doctor” etc. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anyone out there that knows what might be happening? I’m a Mac user, and viruses are never a problem for me.

I am heartbroken to lose part of our family. It’s like yet another death for me. I feel sad for her and sad for us, because she has always been such a pillar of strength and wisdom for us all. Please send thoughts of love her way. :-(

    I will miss Skoski too. I found her comments always to be wise and inspirational. I wish I knew something about computers to help. Something will work out. Surely, Erik is on the case!

    Hi, I would suggest to Skoshi to try a free virus protector called AVG, works well. I don’t have problems with this site and I use a p.c.Hugs

    Just a question. It is my son, David’s 4th birthday in Heaven today. I am feeling very sad. Does Erik know if they still celebrate Earth Birthdays with us and do they have celebrations in Heaven for this birthday or their Heaven birthday.

    Hi,

    It is really hard to say what might be causing her the problem. Your website is pretty tame (not a lot of flashing lights and whistles) so I don’t think it has anything to do with this site.

    I would recommend she take her laptop to someone she can trust and have them do a good “cleaning” on it. I would also recommend a browser like Firefox and to clean her cache and cookies often, or just use the private browsing feature.

    There are plenty of security suites out there or if she wants to go the free route she can go here http://download.cnet.com/windows/security-software/?tag=rb_content;contentNav and look for free antivirus, firewall, anti-malware software to download.

    If she has Comcast as her ISP she can get free Norton Security Suite.

    Oh no…I have never had an issue with this blog on any of the computers I have used. That sounds a bit weird. Maybe she has an attached spirit that doesn’t want her reading the blog because it is raising her level of consciousness and is making it difficult for the attached spirit to remain with her at the heightened level of consciousness. I am serious. I hope she doesn’t stay away too long! We will miss her words of wisdom.

    I use a PC and haven’t had any problems accessing this site. Hopefully Skoshi will find out what kind of problem her computer is having and she will be able to rejoin the readers.

    Dear Elisa,
    Why do you worry so much about Skoshi’s computer? She can always fix her computer, I mean, debug it (it’s quite easy, we do it here all the time as routine work) and be back home. Oh! If you lived in Argentina you knew what I’m talking about. As to my computer, no, I haven’t had any problems with viruses for months, thanks God! I have an antivirus that’s working properly at least for the time being. However, you must know that there’s never a 100% protection against viruses because the same corporations that sell them,create new ones now and again.

      I worry because she’s family and it’s like she’s left home for good. It’s not the computer, it’s the fact that she’ll no longer be coming “home” to visit.

    I have a recommendation for Skoshi. I had a computer tech advise me to install Firefox on my computer – a free web browser from Mozilla that you use instead of the less-safe Windows Explorer. Since then I have no problem with crashes or viruses and i can access this site with no problem. Also, I second the vote for AVG free, does a great hob and free is nice, too. You can find both programs by Googling.

    That’s such sad news!  AVG is a good free virus scanner.  Also, she could download Spybot search and destroy from CNET.  It is an antimalware, antitrogan, antispyware program that I found very helpful.

    Lastly, she could always try a different browser, such as Firefox.  She may be using Internet Explorer and it may have a problem.  To fix it, there may be a portion of Windows that has a Repair program for Internet Explorer.  I recommend she first run antivirus scan, then, Spybot, and repair Internet Explorer before trying a different browser though.  This might help  clean up whatever is causing the browser to crash.  She should do that before trying another browser because whatever is causing the issue may also effect any other browser she uses.  :-)

    I bet that Skoski has no computer virus at all, but is probably has huge energy that the computer reacts to. Like when light bulbs blow, sometimes we just do that to electrical things.

    Elisa, interestingly when I first found your blog via your Huff Po article in August, I had been power reading for several hours through your previous posts and did not exit your site before I went out to run errands; I left your site open and on my screen. When I returned several hours later, my computer had frozen/crashed; I had a completely blue screen with an weird error/virus message on it that I have never encountered before or since! It was really freaky and I immediately turned the computer off and ran my spy wear programs. I make it a policy to ALWAYS update and run my spy wear every week, usually on Sunday evenings while I get ready for bed. I use our ‘home computer’, both my husband and son use it also – so better safe than sorry – there are some really nasty comp virus things out there. Maybe Skoshi’s computer specialist can help her prevent this kind of thing by adding one of these important program to her system. (sort of like an internet condom :) )

    On a happy note – Happy B-Day to Rune – when was his special day? My son Remington just turned 20 on the 20th – it was a ‘Harry Potter’ & ‘Unstoppable’ movie weekend with a good 2 feet of fresh powder here in Park City, Utah – read ‘Happy Snow Dance’ by my guys!

    Again, please advise Skoshi to have her tech guy install a good spy wear program on her computer and to please use it faithfully; I even run it if I have visited a site that might be likely to compromise your computer.

    It’s free and very powerful. Also, has she tried installing Firefox instead of IE? IE is usually at fault in situations like these.

    Also, on a selfish note, I think my pet catfish ma have died this morning and I’m heartbroken. It’s almost impossible to tell, though, because he’s an armoured fish and doesn’t show death like other fish. He’s my little mate. He wasn’t visibly ill or anything. I’m praying he wakes up, but I think he’s already gone. :-(

    My first psychic flash about this was, “She will be back.”

    I would suggest taking her computer to Best Buy and have it scanned/cleaned, or have her employer do that. This site has never given me problems.

    I really hope she just takes a few steps to do a thorough virus/malware cleanup and then return. I really liked her insights.

    Sometimes psychic energies can play havoc with electronics. We have a friend who has fried her motherboard a couple of times, and whose presence sometimes makes others’ computers inoperable. When she has visited us, our computers work fine, but our television — while it is turned off — often makes loud buzzing noises when she’s near it.

    Perhaps Skoshi’s energies are turned up in some way when connecting with this group. Might be worth asking Erik about, eh?

    I have no problem getting to the site on my work computer, but cannot get on any of our computers at home. I have tried messing with the different firewalls, etc..have no luck. Think it is a ips address thing….wish i could figure it out.

    Just to let Skoshi know I miss her. Hope you get your computer problems solved soon. I had a computer virus a few months back. Had to have it cleaned. I lost everything and had to redownload. It’s a pain but I am up and going good now. My mouse jumps now when I type. Don’t know what that’s all about.

    I agree with all of our tech savvy blog members – Firefox, AVG, Spybot, Clamwin – we use all of the above with great success. (Can’t be too careful:)

    I also agree that it is quite possibly related to Skoshi’s energy – she IS a powerful energy force. When I first visited your site, the emotion that I felt was sooo intense that my computer screen literally kept tipping from it’s usual 90′ angle to an almost 45′ degree angle and I would continually have to keep righting it – I assumed from the intensity of my focus and the emotion of your posts – Elisa, you are a very powerful force also!:)

    I also have a very powerful Tibetan Double-Terminated crystal that I keep on top of our computer; it is kind of a dinosaur and I absolutely believe that it helps to keep it running smooth when it starts to sound like a diesel powered washing machine full of rocks!:) Crystals help to dispel static electricity and help to produce a balanced, harmonious energy field. I also keep a beautiful Citrine crystal by our computer station; they accumulate negative energy and dissipate it.

    Please give Skoshi my love and tell her that I believe that btw, she is right about the ‘extra’ Chakras as she mentioned in earlier posts. I hope that she can resolve these techno challenges – she is family and a much valued member of this amazing group of souls!!!

    Erik, if it is you being naughty, please be good and don’t torment our dear Skoshi!;)

    I agree with the suggestion to use Firefox. I have had that web browser for a long time and it works well. I have heard that there are kinks in Internet Explorer. Try switching over and see what happens.     Had the same problem with mine, Elisa, about the same time as we were e-mailing each other about my ‘Ask Erik’ question. Do you remember? I had to wait for Neil to come home each evening to use his laptop. We had to send it off for a week to get better – (that’s a technical term!) Everything was wiped!
    I blamed it on the boys ‘cos my mouse was moving around on its own and the page would scan down and stop on its own.
    Anyway, we had AVG put in, just in case.
    Don’t know if it’s spirit proof though!!

    I am so sorry to hear this as I feel a connection with Skoshi and she has such incredible words of wisdom for all of us. I too am wondering if this is somehow caused by some negative energy. Sounds really fishy for her computer to always act up when she’s trying to visit the blog and receive some enlightenment. There is something going on…as there are no coincidences.

    Hello Elisa,

    I am on a Windows XP dell desktop computer. I have not had any issues with the channeling Erik website. One suggestion for Windows users would be to, if they have not already, to visit the windows update website. They are almost always putting out service packs.

    For windows users I recommend visiting (http://www.update.microsoft.com/) and click on the button that says “Express”. Also make sure your automatic updates is checked. To do this click on Start, Setting, Control Panel. Then double click on “Automatic Updates”. Make sure the first option “Automatic (Recommended)”. This will download and install any new updates for Windows.

    As far as virus protection, you want to make sure your windows firewall is active. Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel and then double click on “Windows Firewall”. Then choose the option “On (Recommended)”.

    I also run a program called “Stop Sign”. It costs me $7.00 a month. In that program is a virus scanner, a additional firewall program and a pop up blocker. And for Windows XP they include a program called “Veloz” that cleans out your temp internet files and other computer trash that’s taking up space. The additional firewall is always good, but my favorite is the virus scanner. It’s set to scan daily and on the chance I get a virus it doesn’t kill right away, the stop sign company will custome build a virus killer just for your computer within a few days to kill it. It’s the first company I have seen to build custom virus killers. So I highly recommend the program. Their website is: http://www.stopsign.com/

    For the record, I have had my PC freeze on this site many times. I have an antivirus and antispyware, but by computer standards, my machine is ancient. I have always thought it’s someone trying to get my attention, but I can’t figure out who it is……

    No, I haven’t noticed any particular links. I have been on pretty, shiny, sparkly a couple of times, and I have visited Kim’s site, as well. It is mostly just on this blog. It doesn’t seem to be anything sinister, my computer just completely freezes. I actually have to cut the power to get it to reboot. It is an annoyance to me, but it’s not enough to keep me from coming here every day. :)

      I did check have my site professionally checked and it seemed fine. I told Erik Skoshi was having problems with her computer freezing when she visits the blog, and he said it’s her energy. It’s so strong that all electronics around her are vulnerable. I bet her energy gets even stronger when she visits spiritually-oriented sites. He recommended she place some sort of “big salt rock” near her laptop to help absorb the energy and to do her breathing exercises and meditation to center her energy beforehand. Maybe you’re a force to be reckoned with too, Supercat!!

    Dearest Skoshi, Another thing you might consider energetically is to give your computer (once it’s fixed) REIKI! I’m not kidding – I’m sure you learned in the classes that it can have a very healthy effect on electronics, balancing them, etc., as it does the human electromagnetic system…worth a shot, eh? :)

    I miss you so much, yet I feel, as some have expressed already, that you’ll be back before long, and I really look forward to that! :)
