Please enjoy this message from Penny, as channeled through Robert. Thanks, Dearest Robert for providing comfort to my family and me!

Penny came through to me on the day of her death and Erik translated her message into human language.  Below is what she had to say.  :-)

She wants her human family to know she couldn’t have asked for a more loving group of humans to have spent her life with.  She says the weekend before her physical death, she was more energetic and chipper because she knew she was going home soon.

Penny wants everyone to know the last few years of her life were pain free, but it was very frustrating not being able to look up at everyone because of her neck problem.  It was even more irritating that she couldn’t run and jump like she could when she was younger.  Those days are over now, and she want’s everyone to know she’s so happy!  She says she can leap like never before!  And she can fly again!  She says she’d forgotten just how much fun flying is!

Penny says she doesn’t want her humans to believe she died in pain.  She says she didn’t.  In fact, she left for Home early on the day of her physical death, before the seizures began.  She says once she left, her physical form began seizing and started the process of shutting down.  The form that was left was no longer her.  It was just a shell.  She says having that form put to sleep was the right thing to do, not because she felt pain (she didn’t), but because it was traumatizing for her human and canine family to watch.  She says to please baby Winnie and Peanut for a while because they are going to be sad she had to leave.  Take extra special care of Peanut though, because the two of them were especially close, so she will have a harder time than Winnie.

She says to tell her human family she loves them very much, and to thank them for taking such good care of her.  Oh, one last thing, Penny says her neck issues were caused by her rambunctious nature when she was younger and no other reason.

That’s all she wanted to say.  I can see her jumping up and down excitedly by Erik’s side.  Erik has reached down now to pick her up and she’s licking him all over the face.  He’s giggling and wiping his face.  She’s so happy to see him again!  :-)

How awesome is this?!?! It’s amazing to know that our little furry friends are with us always :)

Thank you Robert for passing this information on.

My beloved Greyhound, Sweetie, passed away about a month ago. It was a very difficult passing. The Vet feels she died of a Hemorrhagic Stroke.

She began seizing while I was home alone without a car. I called my son panicking because I couldn’t get her to the Vet. We finally got her to the Vet only to have her die on the table.

My male greyhound and my male miniature dachshund are still grieving. It really does affect the remaining pets more than I thought it would.

I feel Sweetie also left her body before the pain although her body was reacting violently. At least, that’s what I am hoping after reading about Penny.

Thanks again Robert for sharing this with us. It does help in more ways than you could know.

Bless you Robert, Erik, Elissa and Penny for sharing this.

I am so sorry that you lost your sweet little dog. It is amazing how much of an effect our pets can have on us. They can open up parts of your soul that nothing else can get to and they do so quietly and innocently. I lost my cat of 17 years about a year and a half ago and I still cry over that loss! I even got my first and only little tattoo in his memory. It is great to think that he is somewhere being happy. We still sense his presence at times, but less and less as time goes on.

You are so very welcome Elisa! I’m happy Penny came through and Erik was able to translate for her. It was very important to Penny that she be able to provide comfort to you and the family. She really loved all of you, but she’s really happy now! Erik joked with me yesterday about her being there…he said “Ask Mom if I can give her back. She’s all over the place and it’s hard to keep up with her! Jeez!”. He said that with a big grin because he was kidding. :-)

Big hugs and lots of love to everyone!

How interesting that the soul can leave the biological form and that body survives for some time without the soul? Is that even possible? Apparently so!
I’m so heartened to know that my little Jude will be taken care of by those gone before me, in spirit, when she goes home.
Thank God for our pets – they are like little angels on Earth. Teachers, companions.

Thanks so much for sharing this. My half cocker spaniel/half springer spaniel, Ladie, was a rescue dog. She spent 3 1/2 years in a cage in a puppy mill. I used to tell her she was a victim of her great beauty. She was SO beautiful and SO sweet that they used her to breed. They abused her and they abused the people who bought dogs from them, as they were selling them as pure-bred springers. I got Linji as a gift a year before Ladie died. He’s a Shih Tsu and he ADORED Ladie. He grieved very hard for her, and I still can’t talk about her when he’s around, because he goes looking for her when he hears her name. When I had Ladie put to sleep, she went very easily. My guides said animals don’t cling to their incarnated bodies the way we do. Erik, if you or Penny run into Ladie, please tell her I love and miss her, and Skoshi, my cat who loved me in return and taught me spiritual lessons. She had been abused before I adopted her. Someone really terrorized her. I wish people would “get with the program” and not abuse animals! – XOXO

Hi everyone! I wanted to write a quick comment to say Erik, Penny, and I are happy to know this message has helped fellow pet parents. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Much love to the family! :-)

  • Shannon

Elisa, I’m so sorry for your loss and so glad Robert was able to pass on Penny’s message. I often wonder what my beloved pit bull went through right before he passed and whether or not he knew how desperately I missed him (I left him with my ex-husband because I had no yard when we divorced). My 9 year-old often tells me out of the blue that “Bart says Hi and he loves you mama!” I hope she’s talking to him!

    Hugs-

    S.

    Hello everyone,

I was unsure if I should post this, but here goes.

While we are on subject of our love for animals – and I mean no disrespect to anyone or their personal beliefs with this thought and I am not meaning to pull out my soap box and bash everyone with it – but I would like to address the lives of critters (fins, feathers or furry) who are basically viewed as a ‘product’ by the world at large for either food, fashion, decor, etc…

I perceive everyone who participates in these discussions, as being compassionate individuals with a genuine respect for all things and the desire to not only raise their own personal understanding, awareness, and vibrational level; but to also make this world a better place environmentally and for all of God’s creatures.

Fast food is simply viewed by most of us as just a normal American staple, (lordy, as a mom, my car smelled like french fries & pizza for years :-) but as I have learned, it does come at a terrible price – generally paid for by the sorry creatures featured on the menu. For instance, ‘McDonalds’ is know as ‘McCruelty’ by animal rights groups because of their continued inhumane practices; something easily resolved by such powerful companies and thereby halting the needless suffering of these sentient beings.

With the holidays fast approaching, there will be lots of festive meals prepared for friends, families and loved ones; but we can do so with an eye toward becoming aware of how these critters – who are providing us with the necessary raw/base ingredients as it were – are being treated before, during and after they become our food (poultry, meat and such)or provide us with the ingredients needed (eggs, dairy)to prepare these yummy dishes. (It just wouldn’t be Christmas at our house without cookies and eggnog :-)

Again, by respectfully sharing my point of view here, I only wish to make this something we all become better at; making informed, compassionate consumer decisions about the ways that we can use our hard earned dollars and have a tremendous positive impact upon this world.

BTW, as a kid, both of my grandparents had dairy farms and we raised our own produce, meat/poultry and eggs. I was lucky, I got to know where my meals came from, how animals should be raised in a natural and humane environment. (I just recently purchased hormone/cruelty free ‘free-range’ eggs at our local market and the young 20-something checker asked me what ‘free-range’ meant and how they kept the chickens from running away!LOL:-)

Once upon a time not so very long ago, animals were not factory farmed commodities and the farmers received a decent living wage; sadly this is no longer the case with regard to either. So to my young 20-something checker; it means that lots of our everyday food has a face and feelings and our informed purchases have the power to make not only their lives better, but the lives of those who work to provide us with our food and our lives as well. No more drugs, hormones and icky unhealthy stuff in our food. No more destruction of Mother Earth by companies who don’t give a rat’s arse about poisoning people, torturing critters or the destroying the environment. A win-win situation for the animals, workers, or ourselves and our loved ones.

I would welcome Erik’s thoughts on this topic. Again, I mean no disrespect nor to rant; I just felt the need to address this issue on behalf of all animals.

Much peace and love to all. XOX!!!

You’re absolutely right, Alexis. We see a hamburger in a McDonald’s cardboard box and don’t realize that it came from a living creature who has a face, feelings, fears, etc. Kid’s don’t learn to have respect for our sources of food, because for all they know, these magically appear in some factory somewhere. I’d like you guys to come up with some specific questions about this for me to ask Erik so we can get more detailed insight. Meanwhile, here’s a YouTube video school children (or actually everybody) should watch:

  • Randi

This is great! I hope it brought your family a lot of comfort. :)

  • Alexis

    Dearest Elisa,

I deeply appreciate and respect you for posting the link above; I feel that none of us have the right to be oblivious to whatever their part (however big or small) in the suffering of animals (where you chose to spend your $$$’s)that really does occur due to consumer – mis – (or) dis – information, ignorance and artificially created demand.

It’s just plain wrong, morally and ethically to inhumanely exploit animals! It frustrates me to no end when people say ‘I don’t want to know about that kind of thing, don’t tell me, it just upsets me, or ‘it’s too gross, so just shut up’! I have friends and family who do this; they love to buy the roasted chicken that every grocery store in the USA sells and they refuse to know anything about where and how it came to be sold in at sooo cheap a price in the that cute, convenient little take home package; or where that ‘Nugget’ really came from. My dear friend loves fur. She has quite a collection and won’t for a moment entertain the despicable reality of the fur trade, but she bakes homemade, organic puppy cookies for her dog — WTF?!

Well folks, it should upset you and you are now unfortunately complicit in all of this, if you chose to remain ignorant to the very real and terrible facts.

Truth is, historically thorough out recorded time, most bad things have happened in this world because good people didn’t want to know, or get involved, or it wasn’t their problem so just shut-up and go away.

We must all put our ‘money where our mouth is’ to coin that old phrase and realize that those who profit from and continue to perpetuate this cruelty don’t care about animals, people or the world at all. It’s just about profit and greed. (They should all come back as dung beetles – except – that they would probably like it!:-()

I am not suggesting that everyone become a vegan, but please just become an informed, aware and compassionate consumer. Please don’t help the greedy heartless jerks make a single dollar at the expense of any creatures suffering. If we as consumers put the power of our purchases into supporting the many, many good people and honorable company’s out there; we can truly make a positive and humane change in the way animals (and people + the environment) are treated. Every little bit counts. (‘Everything counts in large amounts’ Depche Mode :-)

I hope that everyone gives some thought to this question (how to best address this topic to Erik) and how we can all help to make this a cruelty free world for everyone of God’s creatures.

Much peace and love to all of you wonderful people.XOX!!!

You have such a big heart, Alexis!!

Thanks Alexis for bringing the subject of where our food comes from to the blog. If anyone wants to become more enlightened on this subject there is a movie/documentary called “Food, Inc”. Worth the watch. I only eat organically raised chicken and eggs now after watching this film.

Keep the conversation and our evolution into kinder souls going. What is the difference between a cow, pig, a dog and a cat? I personally don’t see one.

  • Jason

Elisa and Robert. Sorry for the late reply. I’ve not had internet for the past couple of days. I had a vision this weekend of Emily taking Penny off Eriks hands for a while. Penny and Emily were chasing each other all over the place. Both Emily and Penny seemed to be hollering like crazy. She hollers, “Mommy I’ve got another one! I love you!” And I see when she catches Penny Erik is watching and Penny and Emily are rolling all over the grass and Penny is licking her face getting mouthfuls of curly red hair. Erik just stands there grinning like a Cheshire cat.

Aw! And no need for rabies shots and heartworm medicine. Yay!

  • http://www.facebook.com/robert.f.burke Robert

Everyone…I will try to do a better job getting some of these cool messages out to the family. Many times I end up sharing them one on one with people, as was the case with Penny’s message to Elisa or various blog members. I tend to forget to put stuff into words once I verbally share something, unless someone specifically asks me to write it down. I get scatterbrained about it from time to time. Other times it’s because I just run out if steam to write, or I want to ponder what I’ve relayed to someone. Nonetheless, I’ll attempt to do better. :-)

Much love and big hugs to everyone!

Keep ‘em coming Robert! Have you started to practice your transchanneling yet?

  • http://www.facebook.com/robert.f.burke Robert

Hey Elisa! Erik and I have been talking about trance-channeling a lot. In fact it has already started in small ways, such as me ending up in front of the sugary cereals at the grocery store and not remembering how I got there. Perhaps you will recall when I was over last Friday night Shane got freaked out because there was an instant where he said I looked and acted just like Erik.  I was talking to Michelle and he suddenly yelled out “Holy shit!  You looked just like Erik then!  That was freaky!”.  For the blog members, Shane is Elisa’s daughter Michelle’s boyfriend.  Apparently when I was chatting with Michelle my expressions, my gestures, and body language was just like him.  Then in an instant I looked like him too.  Shane was the only one to see it.  Erik got a good laugh at poor Shane’s expense.  :-) Jason and I were talking about why i appeared to look like Erik for that instant.  Erik chimed in about that later.  It was done by Erik manipulating the eyes and visual cortex of anyone who was open to seeing my body appear as Erik’s.  That’s probably not going to be a regular thing during the trance-channeling sessions.  Primarily, my physical form will have the same mannerisms as Erik because my spirit will take a back seat and will be temporarily replaced with Erik’s Spirit.  Anyway, the point of me telling you and everyone this is it will be happening very soon.  Sooner than I think we realize.  :-)

    • http://drmedhus.com Elisa

Oh, trance-channeling!!! I thought it was “trans-channeling!” My bad. Tee hee.

  • http://www.facebook.com/robert.f.burke Robert

Elisa…I thought it was trans-channeling at first too…heehee…Erik is picking on both of us now. He’s saying “Duh! Ah her, her!!”. He’s so silly! :-)
