Channeling Erik

Hi All! I’m in Los Angeles gratefully escaping the broiling Houston heat and humidity. Since I have a busy schedule here, I hope you don’t mind the typos and overall lack of editing.

Erik has truly become an international phenomenon. As Todd said, when you google the word, “channeling” our site comes up in ninth place! Pretty cool. Also, I see there are several sites where people channel him and one entitled, “I Dig Erik!” His first (or actually second) fan club!

Channeling Transcript

Me: Why do we slaughter the unicorns? Why do we destroy people like Michael Jackson and, well, all the sweetest, kindest people? We just destroy them. What’s that all about? I mean, I’m not saying we should take away responsibility from each individual soul; I don’t want to do that, but what is it about our human race that makes us want to do that, collectively?

Erik: Well, two things there. Number one, often we don’t understand kindness without meanness. If a person is purely kind, purely giving, we’re already programmed to believe there are strings attached.

Me: I know!

Erik: That whole innocent soul is completely jaded for every person that walks on earth. They’ll always keep their eyes open for an ulterior motive and mistrust. And, what drives that—it’s not the collective—it’s the media.

Me: Oh god, yes.

Erik: Yeah, and the media does it as a marketing scam for you to pay attention, for you to be addicted to their newscast, to find out what’s the latest thing, how to protect yourself, how to stay on top of the thieves. And most of the fucking time, they’re teaching the thieves how to be better. That’s what just grabs me.

Me: Oh, I don’t like the media lately. Seems no one reports things without going through a filter of their own personal agenda. But, you know, I guess we wouldn’t have seen that halo around Michael Jackson if it had not been for the nastiness he endured from the media. For me, it sort of highlighted his angelic qualities.

Erik: That’s true!

Me: So, do we do this for a reason—a spiritual reason? Is there something in all this that will help humanity grow?

Erik: Mom, anything is going to help humanity grow. Unfortunately, sometimes it takes a rougher path, a harder path because of the way it’s presented. If we could just get down to the bottom of things and tell the truth, expose it—even when you say the word, “truth,” people doubt the word. It automatically conjures up feelings of doubt and mistrust.

Me: Yeah.

Erik: You know, we’re so mistrusting as a whole. This is what the whole big gaping wound is.

Me (solemnly): Yeah.

Erik: It’s not just a surface scrape. This deep wound of mistrust is the biggest pain and suffering that we are going to go through as the earth changes. As it goes through devastations, we can’t trust the media. Take Japan; they can report exactly what the earthquake did and what’s happening, but they will not report everything going on with the nuclear plant.

Me: Hmm.

Erik: They’re afraid to disappoint their country.

Me: Yeah, because they want to remain in power, I suppose.

Erik: Yes.

Me: Yeah, um. (pause) God, I had a thought a second ago, and now I can’t remember it!

Erik (chuckling): That’s what old age does to you, Mom!

Me (teasing): Oh hush your mouth!

Jamie giggles.

Me: You bad boy! You’re grounded!

Erik and Jamie both laugh.

Me: So, I guess this whole universal lack of trust is a huge obstacle to our spiritual awakening or The Shift. We can’t embrace everyone, or anyone for that matter, unless we have that foundation of trust.

Erik: Exactly, Mom. You get it!

Me: Yeah, another point for little ol’ Teflon brain. But seriously, we need to learn how to have faith in the good intentions of others, but it’s hard sometimes, because some people don’t have our best interests at heart.

Erik: That’s why things are going to be polarized. The trusting and loving on one side, uh, in one dimension, and the mistrustful and fearful in another dimension.

Me: Hmm. Split decision, huh?

Erik (chuckling): Yeah. Like a boxing match.

That is true about Japan. My Aunt calls my Mother in Florida to get more accurate updates on the state of the power plant in Fukashima. They are a country that does not want to “lose face” in the eyes of their people. I’m sure this government would lie to us as well in a similar situation. . . not that I’m not trusting but when it comes from the government, I always take it with a grain of salt.

  • Dina

This makes sense. Trust is a fundamental must of every relationship. Why wouldn’t it be the same for the larger scale relationship between us humans and our collective spiritual growth? Doubt I can do it though. Trust is one of those many things I’m unfortunately horrible at.

Erik makes a good point. That’s why it’s important to get news from other sources, other than say, corporate-owned CNN.

I do read CNN, Huffpost, and Drudge Report (to get the conservative side of things) – but also http://www.beforeitsnews.com (GREAT source of alternate news), along with David Wilcock’s Divine Cosmos Blog (fascinating, talks about Disclosure and China using extra-terrestrial technology) and Alex Jones’ Info Wars – although he gets a bit high-strung at times :-0

Also – Benjamin Fulford’s blog is a good read for global politic/economics. He used to write for Forbes Magazine.

I read all this and decide for myself.

You’re definitely not gonna get the whole truth from CNN.

  • Noah

Also – regarding Fukashima – it’s absolutely devastating. There is chatter that Japan’s quake was supposedly not natural, along with Haiti and Chile’s.

Why did Japan pay the FED 60 billion yen AFTER Fukashima? (http://www.reenagagneja.com/benjamin-fulford-5april)

Our military has scalar warfare technology and isn’t afraid to use it. It’s disgusting. Nikola Tesla is probably rolling in his grave right about now.

Get ready for my HAARP scalar attacks under the guise of “natural disasters.” This is far from over.

And if you’re on the West Coast, and you’re sensitive to EMF radiation – I’d recommend you got to Whole Foods and start taking Bentonite (it detoxes radiation from your thyroid – the gov’t is not being honest with us about how much of that shit has leaked to the West Coast). Kelp with iodine is also good – but if you have thyroid issues, iodine should be approved by a doctor because too much can mess with you.

What an eloquent statement about our deep wound of mistrust. I wonder why/how it came to be there.

And Lol at “Another point for Teflon brain” ! That was a good comeback ;)

This post was very timely for me. I trusted a few at their word, and got burned very badly. It was very upsetting, but now that I am calmer, I am trying to just be wiser in business/buying. I know I shouldnt be fearful, but things like this show me how I feel, and just how far I have yet to go. Hope I can get there…the journey is the thing, yes?

    • http://drmedhus.com Elisa

That’s right, Iola. The journey IS the human experience. Boy we hit some big potholes sometimes though, don’t we?

  • Stanley

    Hello,

Good post as always. In my experience, people seem surprised to learn that I keep my word. If I can’t keep my word, I don’t make the promise. I sit and wonder sometimes, just how many people who tell the truth exsist.

When I think about it, it doesn’t make sense to me to lie. How do liers keep up with all those lies? Do you suppose they carry around a little journal with all their lies?

In my experience, I give everyone the benifit of the doubt. Everyone I meet I treat as if they are telling the truth. However, if they lie to me, I do not trust that person again. But as I said, that’s just me.

As far as truthful media, I stopped searching for the truth in the news many many years ago. Like religion, the media is fragments of the truth. Like Noah says, I look over different sources and go with my gut. It’s never led me astray so far.

I guess that’s the thing for anything, you have to look into your heart for the truth. Funny how often we shake it off as being shy, or “Eh, I am just scared, there is nothing to be afraid of” and then that’s when something bad happens that your gut was trying to warn you about.

And Elisa, don’t worry about foregetting, I am the king of those sticky pads. My computer monitor has them tapped all the way around it…lol :) I am constantly foregetting things.

  • Tom

Interesting post. My dad was a very non trusting person, and also a narcissist. Learning from that, and my own personal experiences, I figure that the “lack of trust’ is all based in fear and the unknown. Much of this is just from lack of experiances (good) so you don;’t know who or what you are dealing with due to no prior knowledge of anything like it. Unfortunately, humans tend to lie, and plot and scheme and develop ‘hidden agendas” and ‘ulterior motives’ an dwe have to look out for those types….and it’s sad, because this is what destroys society….if you can’t trust ANYONE…then whats the purpose or anything?? Living in fear 24/7 isn’t healthy and really accomplishes nothing, but if anything the “bad guys win” which sucks.
LIke Stanley, I try and give everyone a break and let them prove who and what they are. They hurt me or betray my trust or act dishonorably, they go on my sh*t list. If everything is ok, hey, I made a new friend =D which is cool.
Sad as it is though, most people can’t be trusted for much, if anything, so finding new friends is a tough job….
All we can hope for is that things will (start) to change in the upcoming years =/

Trust is a big thing that is very very difficult to put in any humanbeing. An old adage says, TRUST NOBODY BUT YOURSELF. How true and pratical, I am still to know. We are on a difficult journey as humans.

  • Tracy Lamont

I suppose we are natural herders. If we feel afraid we feel safer in a large group. That’s how it’s easier for the powers-that-be to control the masses. The strong-willed lead the pack and the rest o’ the herd follows cos there’s a certain feeling of safety in numbers. No-one wants to follow a trailblazer if he has a minority following. It’s a fear thing.
You have a good time in LA, elisa. Hope it’s a very fruitful visit. Be great for you to meet up with the West Coast Bloggies!

This is such a profound concept. As usual, Erik provides much food for thought. Thank you, Erik!

  • Jane

What an insightful and bullseye statement Tracy! People will value being “mainstream” over trusting themselves or standing up for what’s right if it’s unpopular, often even value it over loyalty to friends and/or family. And I believe in large part due to what you mentioned above. It seems like some survival instinct. Yet another obstacle for us to overcome, seems not fair sometimes b/c the herd instinct does have some survival value in my opinion (even though i tend to be the trailblazer type.) I guess I should say “yay more opportunity for growing from a challenge!” (waving little flag while sticking out tongue :)

Trust in others? Trust in Spirit? Trust in yourself first:

Many times I read that some researcher or medium or writer regardless of back ground claim an exclusivity to the guideance of Spirit, or they direct mistrust to the concept of seeking communication. I say pish-posh to this sentiment. I for one do not believe a “real” separation exists between this life and the concept that we are, always have been, and always will be a fellow spirit. An entity in our own right who’s communion with the Heaven is a natural birthright. I believe it is only when we approach with fear, mistrust, and uncertain intent outside of the desire for evolvement of the soul through love that one gets into trouble. But it is a trouble of ones own making. This does not mean everyone will have smashing success in their desire for guidance. As many times we are unwilling to listen to what is being offered. Manytimes we refuse to acknowledge what is right in front of us. Many times we refuse contact with our higherselves via inner knowing of intuition, gut feelings; and what we already know. This is not necessarily bad. It may even have purpose. Such narrow focus on the 3D experience is often required to achieve a greater understanding of the remembrance, the teachings, the experience the higher self desires to develop.

    Hi Elisa,

I think this video shows quite clearly Erik’s point when he mentions fear and mistrust. I chose it just as an example. Sadly the world is ruled by a dark cabal that creates separation, mistrust and hatred to profit from them. The good news is people is waking up. I believe it’s up to us, the human race, to end up this horrific state of affairs by becoming fully conscious of who we are, where we come from and why we’re here on the earthly plane.
