Please enjoy this piece on the Indigo phenomenon, sent to me by one of my favorite blog members, Remy. Okay, so you’re all my favorites. I believe Erik was an Indigo as well. I plan to ask Erik for more details on Indigos, Crystallines, etc. and how they’re connected to the coming Awakening.

Are You an Indigo?

Yes, You can be an adult Indigo. They did not JUST start coming in now, the numbers have just been increasing more and more until there are so many we finally can not ignore them. Yeay!!! Are you an adult Indigo?

I believe Adult Indigos have these characteristics:

  • Are intelligent (though did not necessarily have top grades).
  • Are very creative and enjoy making things.
  • Always need to know WHY (especially why they are being asked to do something).
  • Had disgust and perhaps loathing for the inanity of much of the required work in school, the repetition.
  • Were rebellious in school, refusing to do homework, rejecting authority of teachers OR seriously wanted to rebel, but didn’t DARE, usually due to parental pressure.
  • May have experienced early existential depression and feelings of helplessness. These may have ranged from sadness to utter despair. Suicidal feelings while still in high school or younger are not uncommon in the Indigo Adult.
  • Have difficulty in service-oriented jobs – resistance to authority and caste system of employment.
  • Prefer cooperative efforts or leadership position or solo if expertise is valued.
  • Have deep empathy for others, yet an intolerance of stupidity.
  • Extremely emotionally sensitive including crying at the drop of a hat (no shielding) – to no expression of emotion (full shielding).
  • May have trouble with RAGE.
  • Have trouble with most systems (either emotionally, mentally, or physically)- political, educational, medical, law.
  • Alienation from politics – feeling your voice won’t count and that the outcome really doesn’t matter anyway.
  • Frustration with or rejection of the traditional American dream – 9-5 career, marriage, 2.5 children, house with white picket fence, etc.
  • Anger at rights being taken away, fear and/or fury at “Big Brother watching you.”
  • They feel a need like a burning desire to do something to change and improve the world. May be stymied what to do.
  • Have psychic or spiritual interest fairly young – in or before teen years.
  • Had few if any Indigo role models.
  • Have strong intuition.
  • Random behavior pattern or mind style – (symptoms of Attention Deficit Disorder), may have trouble focusing on a task unless of OWN choosing, may jump around in conversations.
  • Have had psychic experiences, such as premonitions, seeing angels or ghosts, hearing voices.
  • Sexually expressive and inventive OR may reject sexuality in boredom. May explore alternate types of sexuality.
  • Seek meaning to their life and understanding about the world May seek this through religion, spiritual groups and books, self-help groups or books, or individually.
  • If they find balance they may become very strong, healthy, happy lightworkers.

Who Are The Indigo People?

I have assembled here a list of some of the traits and potentials of Indigo people. There are many Indigo-ray souls reading this who are still trying to figure themselves out, and realize that they are different somehow, but don’t know why. This work hopes to be of some assistance in sorting you out, and pointing you in the right direction. It is written primarily for the adult Indigos who find their way here (there are no accidents in the universe!), but applies to the younger Indigo children, too. The seeds of many of these traits are present in the children today, and will flower into full power when they make it to adulthood. These traits and characteristics are based partially on my own experience and Guidance as an adult Indigo, and from talking and reading and corresponding with other adult Indigos. Some are self-identified, others are not. I use the word ‘we’ collectively and “I” personally.

Who are the “Indigo” people? Why are we here, what purpose do we serve? Are we a threat, or an improvement? How can one ‘spot’ an Indigo adult or child? Are you one? Your child? Someone you know?

The world is shifting and changing. Old paradigms and cultures are dying, superseded by brilliant new ones. A change is happening- the Apocalyptic mindset is setting, and the Ascension mindset is rising. The world as we know it is at a cusp between great Ages, and we are in a time of accelerated development as well as decay, both socially and spiritually. There is much confusion in the world, as the old ways try to maintain their grasp on power, and the new ways brighten the horizon and edge their way in. The whole result is an incredibly confusing mix of dogmatic rule-bound conservatism and rule-free hedonism and social anarchy. This explosive mix is evident in the Public World- road rage, wild children, indifferent parents, dogmatic fundamentalist evangelicism, no-holds-barred radio and TV, and a previously impossible mix of stark prudishness and wild abandon. Even Rome wasn’t this crazy when it fell- and they had lead poisoning as an excuse. As the Chinese curse states, we’re living in ‘interesting times’- very interesting times. Headlines that would have shocked us a couple of decades ago now barely rate a raised eyebrow. The wonders of science increase at such a rate that what was science fiction last week is science fact this week.

Add to this volatile mix a new spiritual ‘species’ of human being starting to make an impact on this world. They have been labeled “Electric Blue”, “Cobalt”, and “Indigo” by various channels and prophecies, because of the high-frequency emanations of their particular auras. Every living being has one- a field of energy that surrounds, permeates and radiates from them. They can be sensed and even photographed with today’s electronics. Psychically sensitive people have seen them forever. These field-sensitive people can ‘see’ a dark electric blue –almost black- auric outline around these people. It is the deep, brilliant blue of the clear sky after the sun has set, but before the stars appear- a terminator or cusp color. In the light spectrum, it is the next to highest visible band of light in the rainbow octave we can see. Highlights of violet, green, gold and white are also apparent. I was called ‘Cobalt’several years back by a sensitive Spiritualist medium in England, but the most popular current title is “Indigo”. For the sake of brevity, I shall use Indigo also, but it applies to all people of this auric category.

Much has been made of the current crop of Indigo children being born, but Indigos of the current group have been incarnate for just over 40 years. The earliest Indigos born between the late fifties and late seventies had protective auric overlays of standard blues and violets and tans, because the culture was not ready yet for the impact of ‘pure’ Indigos who started appearing in the mid- eighties. These Elders possess the same capacities as the younger Indigos, but had a longer ‘latency’ period. This was for their own survival and protection. Elder Indigos are just starting to come into their real power, and act as guides, role models, and tutors for the youngsters who are now manifesting. They had to spend some time in the Old World so they can help make the transition into the New World.

I am one of these Indigo Elders. Throughout my life, I have been called an ‘old soul’, and have had experiences and insights that are outside the usual parameters for the life of a person of my culture and heritage. Even when I was young, I knew that I was different somehow, but no one could tell me why, and I asked everywhere- church, teachers, parents, mentors… no one could give me a straight answer. I finally learned the art of inquiring within- asking my Higher Self, my Guidance. Establishing that contact and trust has thrust me into a whole new realm of inquiry and knowledge. I was given the gift of communication, and the mission (should I care to accept it, and I did) of serving as a beacon of Light and as an information/wisdom channel. I serve with honor, humility and the wonderful understanding that there is important work being done here, and I am an integral part of it. I am a member of a vast global family of Lightworkers and spiritual craftspeople who are here to help shape the future of this lovely world and its inhabitants. We have been here a very long time, and with the upgrades we bring, we’ll be here even longer.

It is possible that you may know an Indigo, or be one yourself. Indigos vary wildly in their presentation. In the adults, there are two categories- those who are conscious of being an Indigo and are coming into their Inner power, and those who are latent, and haven’t quite made that inner connection with their gifts yet. The ones who made it are of all races and walks of life. But there will be that certain ‘something’ about them- a presence or charisma that sets them off from everyone else. They may not be rich or formally college educated, but if they give you advice, or make a prediction or observation, they’ll be spot-on. There is a depth of wisdom and knowledge within them that eclipses many highly educated sorts. They can be quiet and unassuming, but the successfully integrated, balanced and self-actualized adult Indigo has an aura of an ancient warrior-sage about them, and even if they are very young, they will have wise old eyes that will see right into your soul. It is difficult to lie to them, because they can turn those ancient eyes on you, and strip the dishonesty right out of you. They have heard every lie, seen every scheme, done everything that there is to be done from the beginning of time. But they volunteered to return, with all those eons of wisdom and experience intact. This is an awesome responsibility, but the Indigo bears it with grace and humor.

The latent and not yet manifested older Indigos are often the result of harsh mistreatment or misunderstanding as children, or being told over and over by parents and authorities that their visions had no meaning, or their sensitivities were fake, or worse, they are insane. The psychic pain of this malfunction of assimilation and actualization causes them to truly go mad, or turn to alcohol or drugs for comfort from the pain. With time and care, even these seemingly hopeless ones can find some measure of peace, get in touch with their gifts and potentials, and live to serve as they came here to serve.

Please ask about Rainbow children, Star children, Indigo and Crystal children – very keen to know more…on another note spoke to my (departed in 1991) dad today (reborn as my son in 1995) – and he mentioned that this (son) is a part of his whole Monad…we had lots of fun in the session which was done for my sister and when she met him in the Akashik records (his work is there) got many interesting answers…one message for all “remain unselfish, remain clean, things are moving very fast”…

Funny I just started coming to your website the other day and I wanted to say I knew Eric was an Indigo and the first thing I saw when coming back was this blog. Eric was most definatley and Indigo or maybe crystal child. He seemed so compassionate and ULTRA sensitive like myself. There are many of us out there and we all need to read the books on these extremley imnportant beings and take part in the understanding of their gifts they contribute to the world.

  • Alexis

    Elisa,
Thanks for posting the “Indigo” information I sent you. I know that this insight will resonate deeply and make so much sense to the other CE Family members–what a special group of souls you have established an anchor for with your excellent blog!!! XOX to ALL!!!
    Alexis–aka–Remy(my son, Remington:)

Elisa you must’ve read my mind cause I was just reading about this stuff a few days ago! Yes ask Erik. We gotta know more about these beautiful creatures!
    Love you, Nina

  • mom2bzs

Wow! What a great article! I see so much of myself in this article.

Robert and Jason: Elizabeth nodded her head at me while I was reading this, telling me that this described me. She told me this years ago.

I have seen this before, Stanley sent me a link about Indigos and said he was one himself. I asked what the hell is an indigo?? =P I did some reading and found what is posted above and, yes, much of it applies to me as well…UGH! I am probably one of the latent ones, having to put up with an over bearing parent and older brother, both who said I didn’t know what I was talking about or that I didn’t mean what I said or that I didn’t believe what I thought etc…..Y*U*C*K!
Anyways, I have always been drawn to the color blue, (I am wearing a pair of blue print PJ bottoms and a blue hoodie sweat shirt) and my favorite color is a deep burgundy, or maroon….go figure. I have many of the traits above, especially no patience with thoughtless or brainless people who only act for their own interest….drives me nuts.
Another observation is that children are drawn to me almost like a magnet. these might be the ‘crystals’ who are coming in, and are attracted to indigos (or so I have read). I am tempted to ask one of them ‘what color’ I am….just to see what the response is…it’s really kind of odd.
I have had visitations, and some premonitions, but , as I have mentioned, I keep shoving them down. I guess I’m just not ready or not able to deal with a lot of this stuff.
I do try to be a positive roll model for others , especially those younger kids at work. I have realized that I am a ‘positive’ person, were my father and older brother are both ‘negative’, and I also have adverse reactions to negative energy.
Essentially, this is a rather refreshing post and reminds me that I have a place here and a purpose. I’m “N*O*T” wrong like I have been told most of my life =P and there is something for me to do and pursue while on this plane….but it’s still an uphill battle.
I’ll keep reading and researching…if I remember and don’t forget that this has meaning *blush* that ADD thing I guess.
Anyways, thanks for adding this to the CE mix, I read most every post to try and keep up. Your vacation in Norway sounded fantastic…I hope to go there someday =D
As usual, I’m rambling…sorry…I’ll go back to my quiet lurking.

    Thanks for posting this =)

    Hello,

Since as far back as I can remember, I knew I was different from those around me. Back then I had not heard about Indigo’s and such. All I knew was I had these gifts that those around me did not. For example, getting visions of future events during sleep, being able to feel the emotions of those around me, being able to feel the presence of spirits around me just to name a few. It was in the last year that I found out that there was a name for people like me, Indigo. Finally everything made sense. And since finding the name for this, I was able to find others like me. One site I frequent is a place called Indigo Society. Thier URL is http://indigosociety.com/index.php They have many many topics. Lots of support there. In the end, the simple goal of those who are Indigo are to bring love and peace to the world. And the different gifts Indigo’s might have are to help us all to reach that goal. And you don’t have to be an Indigo to share love and peace. Just holding the door open for someone, saying Good Morning to people you pass on your way to work, give a few bucks to the guy holding the sign at the end of the freeway off ramps….a little kindness and love goes such a long way. And the other thing to remember is although the goal is a huge one, no Indigo on this planet is no more important than anyone else. We all all equal. We are all one. Take care everyone and be well.

    -Stanley

Sherri Cortland writes about this concept as do many authors, spiritualists, channelers, and mediums.

I’m probably not an Indigo adult as I only meet half or less of those qualities listed, but I do believe that the children of today are different.

This is a very interesting topic and I’d love to hear what comes through Erik about it.

Note – many of us are Lightworkers. Supposedly, gay people are often in the frontlines/trenches of lightworker stuff, many lightworkers are not awake.

Elisa, can you please also ask Erik about the Lightworker concept, too?

    • http://drmedhus.com Elisa

It’s already on the list, Steve! (toward the end, I think.)

  • Will

I don’t mean to show any disrespect or hurt any feelings here, but everyone wants to be special. At least that’s what our ego tells us.

Every kid out there has felt lonely or out of place at some point or another. Most people think they’re smarter than the rest and won’t show tolerance to people them deem “less intelligent”. Everyone is creative in their own ways, because that’s one of the deepest expression of our beings: we’re all creators of our own reality. No one likes to lose their freedom. Anyone who isn’t too naive can understand that in the world we currently live in, politics is purely smoke and mirrors, and medias only tell you what you’re supposed to know. Anyone with the tiniest bit of intellectual curiosity has wondered at least once or twice what the purpose of life is. How can you not be curious about this?

This trying to be in the “indigo club” sounds a lot like ego-talk to me, and it’s not very good in my book. We’re all spiritual being at various levels of evolution trying to learn a few more important life lessons before we move to the bigger classroom. There’s no need to try and invent groups/separations that do not exist.

I probably match 80% of the criterias listed above, but probably anyone else can identify with that list to some extent. I don’t claim to know if this is whole indigo child deal is true or not. All I am saying is: try to resist the urge of putting a “I’m special” label on you, as it might be counter-productive to your own personal growth.

    • http://drmedhus.com Elisa

Wow, Will, that’s an interesting perspective!!! Personally, I think we’re all part of the collective. Our separateness is only an illusion. We’re all special. We all have our individual strengths and our individual weaknesses. I’d love to hear some more debate on this, given WIll’s comment. Any takers? BTW, at her channeling boot camp, I remember Kim mentioning that there is no such thing as Indigos and Crystals, etc. But I never have asked Erik, personally. Robert, Jason, have you asked Erik this? Thanks Will!

  • Alexis

    Dear Everyone,
Soooo glad that this resonates with you all!!! We are NOT crazy (even though we may have been told that we were or sometimes even felt it–been there done that;)We are different for a reason and our uniqueness does have a very meaningful and positive purpose to contribute in this world; YEA US!!!XOX
    Much love to ALL!
    Alexis/Remy

    • http://drmedhus.com Elisa

Hmmm. I dunno, Alexis. I might be Indigo and a little nuts. (grin)

  • Lena

This is absolutely incredible, Elisa. And the timing of your post is amazing and a little creepy, but in a good way. This whole day today I’ve been thinking about my sensitivity to everything and what I can do to help and change the world.

To give you a bit of context, I’m currently traveling abroad in Colombia with my mom. My mom is Colombian and this is actually my second time ever visiting the country, and my first time traveling here with my mom (she’s actually realizing a life-long dream of traveling here with me and showing me her roots. It’s really awesome.) Basically things are so different here, not necessarily in a bad way, but it can be a bit of a culture shock. I’ve come to realize a different way of life. Talking with people and just seeing first hand how corrupt politics have affected a culture has been a bit rough, but it has given me more perspective and motivation to go out and change things for the better. It’s just amazing to see how despite the poverty and the shittyness of the politics here, people are generally happy with their lives. There’s a bigger sense of spirituality that keeps everyone strong despite everything. So I’ve been quite overwhelmed since I’ve been here and have had so much on my mind that relates to today’s post. The timing just couldn’t be better.

Anyways, thanks for this post. I really feel like it described me down to a T. Not only did it help ease my mind, but it gave me more strength/motivation to continue on my journey in life. I’m forever grateful to you, Erik, and my guides.

    • http://drmedhus.com Elisa

Dr. Creepy, that’s me! I didn’t know your mom was Columbiana! Ask her if she knows La Clinica Barraquer in Bogota. Those are my relatives. Jose Ignacio was kidnapped many years ago (along with his so-called body guard) and the family had to pay big bucks to have him released to safety. So, I know things are pretty rough there. But, like here, out of chaos and rubble comes an awakening. LIke the Phoenix rising from the ashes, I think we often have to walk through a wall of fire to get to the Light.

  • Shannon

Thank you Elisa and Alexis for posting this! About a year and a half ago I was having some energy work done and was told that my youngest daughter (just turned 10) was “…a Crystal Child, of course that would make sense because you’re an Indigo.” WHAAAAT?! “Back the boat up, what are you talking about?” was my response. After some research, I’ve come to the conclusion that most, if not all of those labeled “ADD/ADHD” are Indigo/Rainbow/Crystal children and it makes me sick to know how many of them are having their magic drugged out of them because society doesn’t know or want to know how to deal with them/us. I keep praying for a way for this info to find it’s way into the public school system.

Stanley, you’re right, there’s no excuse to not be a good human.

    S.

    • http://drmedhus.com Elisa

I know, Shannon! It seems like these diagnoses started shortly after the advent of the public school system. Guess what?! Kids aren’t supposed to sit quietly behind desks lined in straight little rows for 8 hours a day. It’s more a disorder on society’s part, not at all on the child’s part. I never heard of the Rainbow kids. What are they?

  • Skoshi

I’ve wondered since the beginning whether Erik was an Indigo. Of course, Michelle has Indigo qualities too.

I read recently that the Indigo phenomenon started about 50 years ago, so there are Indigos now in their 50s, but I don’t believe that for a minute.

I can remember as a toddler being hit by my father with his belt because I wouldn’t put my toys away. I looked down at the welts, didn’t cry, and thought very clearly (the memory is like it happened yesterday), “these people are crazy; you’d better be careful because there’s no telling what they’ll do.” And as a young child having spiritual experiences, studying deep scriptural concepts, deciding never to marry (am often sorry that I caved), not having friends because they weren’t kind and had no interests I thought were worthwhile, etc., and I’ll be 64 on the 13th. Look at shamans and people like “Grandmother Stanley” who lived in the 1800s. I think there have always been Indigos. There are just a LOT coming in now.

    • http://drmedhus.com Elisa

I agree, Skoshi. And when I read about how Indigos were a relatively recent thing, the first two people I thought about was Grandmother Stanley and my own mother.

  • Skoshi

I have read skeptics response to Indigo children literature. They say, essentially, that these are spoiled children who have parents who make excuses. I’m not buying it. I was VERY obedient. So afraid of my father I wouldn’t dare misbehave. An A student and quiet, but I have a high IQ and was very into studying deep scriptural issues as a young child. I have all the qualities listed above except for not being disobedient or having disregard for people who are slower than myself.

    • http://drmedhus.com Elisa

I guess the question is: are Indigos, Crystals, etc. just individuals with a certain set of personality traits and other characteristics with no collective “purpose” or do they have some collective spiritual blueprint or destiny, in particular where a spiritual awakening of some sort might be involved. I have no clue. We all know there are Type A and Type B personalities, yet few would believe them to have a special collective purpose.

  • Skoshi

I guess the claim by skeptics is that Indigos aren’t Type A personalities; just spoiled children with parents who make excuses. Slackers and delinquents who excuse their behavior by saying they’re special.

The thing about Indigos, I think, is their psi abilities and deep spiritual interests. I don’t know of any of my classmates who were interested in the things I was interested in.

Also, as to my generation and older, I am reminded of Sylvia Browne, who not only has had experiences since childhood, but who also frequently relates stories about one of her grandparents who was also psychic…her grandmother I believe, and Sylvia is older than I am.

I think there’s clearly a movement under way. My guides have said when they look down on the earth, they can see lights shining like diamonds all over, and they’re people, not fixtures! LOL.

  • Patrick

Wow, Elisa what a small world. I had my RK done at Barraquer in 1994 when I lived in Colombia my 2nd time. My son was born there my first “tour” and my wife is a loyal native, she was brought to the USA from Colombia as a little girl

    • http://drmedhus.com Elisa

      Very small world, indeed!

  • Skoshi

The DNA evidence will eventually be conclusive. I just hope there doesn’t become a group who go on a 21st Century witch hunt.

  • Shannon

Skoshi, I’m there with you. I was VERY obedient (for fear of being beaten) and an “A” student until my senior year of high school (I just didn’t give a crap any more). Funny thing is that I could probably be the poster child for the above list. I will say I have little tolerance for stupidity (read: the many varieties of ‘pompas ass’) which, in my book, differs from people who are slower or appear to be less intelligent. My views on politics and higher education couldn’t have been stated more plainly. I thought my quirk as a human lie detector was attributed to being a Pisces, but apparently there may be more to it than that!

I also think the Indigo have been trickling in for some time. If the article is correct, then we light workers have our work cut out for us as the bridge between the old consciousness and the new. We live in interesting times for sure!

Elisa, it’s been a while since I read up on the Indigo/Rainbow/Crystal children, but what I remember is that the kids coming in now are more intense, more in touch with the Spirit realm, more sensitive to EVERYTHING, highly intelligent, etc. Some of these kids are labeled as autistic, ADD/ADHD, and are “afflicted” with a variety of other “disabilities”. I look at my 10 y.o. daughter and see a wrecking ball unleashed on “polite” society. I can’t wait to see her as an adult! Okay, maybe you could add “sadistic” to the above list! :D

    S.

  • Shannon

Elisa, I followed the link in the above article and found in the descriptions of the Indigo Generations, references to crystal coloring in the auras. The kids coming in with “ADD/ADHD” are Crystal Children (in this instance, the author lists this as a development of the Indigo rather than a difference between Indigo and Crystal). The difference is not so much personality as sensitivity and ability to function in the present environment.

    S.

  • jane

@Steve – thank you! I have been feeling for awhile now that LGBT persons are generally more evolved! (with exceptions, they ARE people :) I feel that every step toward gay civil rights is a step toward breaking the patriarchal system on the way to a kinder, gentler way of life. I don’t anticipate a magical transformation to utopia but am cheering wholeheartedly for every step of progression rather than regression!

@Will- I see it as a validation and affirmation for souls who feel out of place and that is a good thing. I too feel your caution but I think you’re being too hard on yourself and others. Sometimes acknowledging you are special w/ a vital role to play is a way of “coming into your own.”

  • Denise

Will has an interesting take on the subject. It is always good to temper the ego and not get side tracked by any single idea. Dashing that ego is the goal in seeking enlightnment. Based on personal experience it is easy to get caught up in the ego- me, me, me. There is that attachment to the ego as our identifier; I think it is who I am and there is that fear of losing myself while working to lose myself to find Myself. It is quite the connundrum.
We all want to feel that we are contributing something positive and healing. That doesn’t mean your experience isn’t real. You could easily be and are most likely part of a group with a goal of accomplishing a specific shift in the perceptions of this world.
No experience is good or bad or ordinary or special – it just is. Our perception is that it is good, bad, ordinary, or special.
No doubt this group of souls is a new wave arriving on the scene to shake things up not unlike the group of scientist, engineers, and pilots that incarnated together to land a ship on the moom just to show it could be done. What will be their equivalent of a trip to the moon?
It will be interesting to watch it take shape.

  • Patrick

I agree with Will. Looking out at what surrounds us from our inner perch, he is right, we want to be special, principally because we are. Our great challenge is sympathy and then empathy and appreciation of what life is like for HER, and for HIM and for THEM. Our presence on earth separates us from one another and hopefully forces an appreciation such separation can teach, if we can overcome its barriers.

I also relate to a LOT of this Indigo description, I was told years ago by a coworker that I have a green aura. Green is blue mixed with yellow, and likely I’m the beneficiary of the overlay. Anyone else?

I don’t believe we’re that different now than we’ve been – as humanity on God’s Earth – but the overload of imagery and the shrinking size of our planet brought about by ease of travel, instant communication of volumes of data only recently unimaginable do foretell an upcoming peak, pinnacle or shift in direction and if “We Indigos” (and could the recent hit movie Avatar be a metaphor?) are here to play a key role, then there is great hope for humanity.

  • Yahaira Florentino

I think have a little be of indigo, butu im engaged to one full one. Thanks lisa for this.

There is no ego involved……as I have just read anothers comment. This is just a proven fact if you read books by Nancy Tappe you will see that she has proven this by her clarivoyance and seeing the changes in the people coming into the world. Most of the people of this vibration (wich is what color is) need to know their true power because it is hidden through the very logically minded people we deal with here. This is a fact ………and the reason this world is not where it could be is because the visionary souls are not able to be themselves and are shut down the minute we speak of the imagination or the utopian visions they have. The ones who are held back are the ones who need to know their importance. The ones who are shut down and have bi-polar are the ones who have been isolated from the truth of who they are because of people who are in their egos and cannot see another way. The ones who need to cultivate their visions are the ones who will never know their truth if we do not give them credit where credit is due. I will never be an ego maniac because I know what it is like to be the underdog and the one who always knew the truth but was quickly shut down because of the very narrow minded world we live in. I feel the pain of separation and cannot avoid seeing what really matters and that is love and truth. Something we all will not know if we do not open the eyes of the world through the Indigo vibration.

  • Jane

wow Kathy what you say really resonates with me. Of course i have more invested here emotionally b/c i feel that describes me as an Indigo. It is so accurate to my life experience. It reminds me of the show Psychic Kids where they feel like such failures as humans until they have their own talent validated. Then they blossom so beautifully once they are able to be themselves and use their gifts confidently. They have certainly faced a long road of difficulty and ostracism and my heart goes out to them and to all sensitive children.

Hi Jane, I am of this vibration also and I am I being shown that we all have to live in our integrity it is most important now…..I am sorry if I came of a little snippy. Since I have be enlightened to the Indigo Idea I have been given lots of information about why this world is out of balance and it is because of the suppression of the truth and the truth is…………we are not free to be ourselves do to the fear of being different. We are taught to conform to society”s rules which was fine but……..not with the increased Indigo vibration. Things will change fast!

That’s amazing, because all my books are based on that hypothesis, Kathy. I believe external direction is was is behind all that is wrong in the world today. People make their choices based on what will win them pack approval rather than their sense of right and wrong.

    Hello,

The last two years has been more or less a “coming into” kind of thing. When I was younger the gifts and such I had were minor. Well, minor to me. Such as feeling spirits, feeling others emotions and viewing future events during sleep. But since I was about 28 these gifts expanded and new ones were made known. And it seems as time passes, the gifts grow and others begin to show themselves. For example, the empathing for example. I used to feel someone’s emotions that was next to me. Over the last two years or so that’ expanded to being able to connect to someone thousands of miles away. And a few times now along with the empahing I was able to see room layouts from that moment. Like if someone was abused for example, I can feel what they were feeling during the event, but also could see the room where it occured like a photo. With visions, instead of ones where I see what might happen just in my life has expanded to show major natual disasters and events that involve others such as the Haiti earthquake and the title wave in Samatra. And one new gift that has come to be is the ability to heal and relieve pain. That came in a strange way. I was coming into the living room and suddenly had the urge, like a voice telling me to lay my hands on my friend and will the pain away. The open wounds she was having pain with was causing severe pain. I put my hands near the area and just sent her energy. Within about 5 minutes or so she told me she didn’t feel any pain. It was strange because I had never done it before till I got that feeling or urge to do it. I have no doubt that these and other gifts are given to us to help others and to work toward that goal of a world of love and peace.

I recently purchased Doreen Virtue’s oracle cards and have been playing around with them. Each time I have a “session” I pull the Indigo card several times. I’m not sure what to make of it because I’m not asking any questions, just sitting quietly with a calm and open mind with my eyes closed.
